"Kevin and his crew were on time..professional and friendly. They were very careful taking down the trees we wanted down and trimming all the limbs from the other trees we wanted done. Once they were finished they cleaned all the debris from the yard..I will gladly give them an excellent review and in the future when and if I need them again I will definitely use them. They all feel like family now."

"Carlos and his team did a fantastic job cutting down very large trees next to our house, shed, and fence. They were experts and were very professional. Their quote was cheaper by far than their competitors."

"These folks really go the extra mile. Removed massive trees from my property at a better price than I have even been quoted. Did extra all over the property, for free, to ensure my RV could make it through without hitting tree limbs. Made sure to set everything back exactly the way it was prior to them coming on site. I can't say enough about these folks but they are my go-to for landscaping on our farm from now on."

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

Steer clear of the area and contact your utility company immediately. It will have a website portal and/or a phone number to report downed trees and electrical issues. If the tree appears to be on public land, you may want to call your local government and report the issue there, too.

While it’s best to have access to large, healthy, strong trees in a safe position, treehouse living is still possible without them. Contractors can fit tree posts to build the structure onto or use posts as additional support alongside the trees themselves. If you’re in doubt about the suitability of the trees on your land, consult with a local treehouse builder before you start the project.

Transporting a fully-grown tree requires heavy equipment, typically specialized for the task. A tree spade is a truck-mounted tool that removes the tree from the ground in one location, transports it, and places it in a new hole in a new location. A combination of mechanized shovels and lifts is necessary to move very large trees, and the exact tools often depend on location and the surrounding area.

Common signs that a tree is rotting include dead branches, a leaning trunk, peeling or cracked bark, leaf discoloration, and the presence of fungi. If you notice any of these signs, it’s best to hire an arborist near you to inspect your tree and determine if it can be saved or if it needs to come down.

The safest way to cut down a tree is to make sure you’re completely prepared and have done all the necessary safety checks, including double-checking your equipment is in good working order, you have plenty of clearance to fell the tree, you’re wearing all the safety gear, and you have a partner to help you (who should also be wearing safety gear).
