"After our first contractor left us high and dry, our friends recommended Angie's List.  She told us about how the providers who belong to Angie's List are responsible and professional, so we asked her to give us a name of a handyman and construction service. That is when we were introduced to Walls Construction and Handyman Service.  We contacted them last Friday and their receptionist was very responsive and professional and made us feel at ease and asked if she could send over their field rep that evening due to our circumstance.  Their field rep came over Friday evening after work hours to look at what we needed done and was very professional too.  They allowed us to use our tile we had already purchased.   They showed up Monday morning Oct 8 at 9 AM as promised and completed the job beyond my expectations.  We will be booking future work with them to complete some other projects we have long been waiting for.  Thanks Angie's List. "The guys who actually installed the siding & windows did a great job. They were professional and paid attention to every detail. They get 5 stars. The Richline sales Rep was nice enough, but led me to believe that the job would start within 3 weeks from when I signed the contract. After several calls trying to get in touch for updates, I was told different dates until they finally started almost one and a half months later. Apparently Richline has disconnected their company phones and only use their cell phones now."

"Made an appt. with Castle Rep, James, for 17 windows and vinyl siding. He spent 1 hour talking about how great his company and windows are before finally getting down to the issue. We were told that CASTLE makes and services their own window, with all the best technology and technicians available. The price per window for energy efficient came out to over $1,200 per double-hung window! And since they make their own products, we could not find a way to compare quality and price with other manufacturers. But his per-window price exceeds the average price of $500-700 by A LOT! When we balked, he made a call to his "manager" to see if we qualified for a "special promotional" discount. If we were to commit right there on the spot, we would get an additional 10% off! Still way to high. We said we would think about it (he got sad and snippy), and that we wanted to hear about the vinyl siding quote before we made any decisions. He told us he could not give us a siding quote until his company did an "eagle view" measurement, which would require another appointment! We had no intention of sitting through ANOTHER high-pressure appointment. High pressure, long-drawn out presentation and he would not leave us with anything in writing! No brochures, prices, nothing! He refused to put anything in writing and we could not have a break down of labor and costs. I even asked him if I could have a copyhh of the window warranty and he said "only if you purchase right now." And they did not come prepared with references or previous job locations! When we further researched the company, we found they did make very excellent products, but the #1 complaint was by far that they did not honor their lifetime warranty and that customer service was horrible. In the end, we chose not to do business.."

"The windows were fine. They were a little high. I haven’t had any reason to call them. They have been calling me since they put me on their list. They want other projects. I told them to stop calling, they were calling 2 or 3 times a week. They showed up. They went to their sales pitch quite a bit. Punctuality - They were good on that too. The installers were good on professionalism. I might check with them, I’m not sure if I would use them or not. The price is a little too high. Less likely to use them at the moment. It took less than a day. Area looked very clean. They could lower the prices a little bit."

"Everything was done very well; removal of old sunroom materials, installation of new wall and roof over additional roof area. All wood work was very well done, installation of new glass and new structural roof! All done well. Exception was the new roof! Here the interfacing of new roof with existing roof was not done well. All the construction was completed at end - literally in last week of 2015; all seemed well for first winter of 2016, then in spring of 2016 the roof began leaking at or near the interface of new with the existing roof. I called Mr. Bart Scesney, the Senior Design Consultant , overseeing the project and reported the leak. He promised a fix. Then through the summer of 2016 the leak seemed to resolve itself but with return of winter the roof leaked through the winter of 2016 -2017. I called Mr. Scesney again and again received a promise of a repair; nothing happened. Again in winter of 2017-2018 leaks occurred, again I called with the same null response. Finally in the fall of 2018 I sent an email to Mr. Scesney with a copy to the President of TRS, Mr. Joe Henley. Again a promise of a repair but no response. Thus, this complaint to Angie's list and the same to the Better Business Bureau. Next will be a formal legal proceeding to sue the company for the cost of an urgent repair. Really hate to take this action because all other aspects of the work was so well done. But I must stop the leak; I have a cathedral ceiling and as a result a leak comes directly into my home."
