Ikea apparently no longer does business with them. The cabinets they put in had to be redone due to many holes they put in the back in the attempt to have the illegal electrical work pass through. The vent for the stove was put in so that my cabinet door couldn't open, the electrical work had to all be redone since none of it was up to code and almost all the cabinets had to be rebuilt due to the holes, being put in unevenly (which would cause my expensive countertop to likely fracture.)
They never hauled away the old kitchen cabinets, which sat on my back deck like an episode of "Hoarders."
Honestly, I could go on for tens of thousands of words as to how horrible they are. Filed complaint with BBB who also could never get phone calls or emails answered.
I'm having a great contractor do the work now. BTW, Osprey Bay was listed as licensed contractors and didn't have anything listed against them with BBB.

Buyer beware just got took they got me good I recently purchased quartz countertops from Lowe’s. I was informed that I would need to arrange for plumbing and gas disconnection and reconnection, which I did. However, issues arose with the measurements for the kitchen island after the...
He recommended purchasing a new one be too expensive to repair.
I specified the times I would not be in the office. That's when they showed up. I wasn't on site, so can't speak to professionalism. Repair would be more expensive than a new fridge, so only charged for a service call.
After having a bad experience with another appliance repair outfit in the Fredericksburg, VA area, I called Fuller's Appliance Repair. They were very courteous on the phone and responded promptly with a visit to diagnose the problem despite the fact that I wasn't in their immediate area....
The cleaning was well done. The kitchen was all shined up, with the cooktop and microwave being immaculate. The floors were spotless and countertops and sink were shining. Bathrooms were also spotless, with shining fixtures and clear mirrors. All living areas were well vacuumed and...
The entire process, from listening to my needs, wants, and ideas; providing design drawings; infinite patience during my review & choice process for cabinets, hardware, countertops, flooring, paint colors -- just everything; the work itself, and follow-up has been totally professional,...
Very impressed with how thorough Nick's crew was. They made several recommendations for components that were out of tolerance and found a freon leak. I called my home warranty company (AHS) to fix the problems. The A/C repair company sent out by AHS did not find any of the problems Nick's...
What could have been a very expensive repair, ended up being fixed on the spot, saving us hundreds of dollars. Thy did a great job.

The average cost to hire a handyman ranges from about $40 to $140 per hour. Average project cost ranges between $180 and $700, but the cost per hour and per project depends heavily on the type, size, and complexity of the project. The pro’s experience level and your location also factor into how much a handyman charges per hour or per project. You can also expect to pay higher rates or additional fees for emergency services, or around periods of high customer demand, like holidays.
There are several countertop options available to fit your lifestyle and needs.
Granite countertops are durable and come in a variety of colors.
Soapstone countertops are prone to scratches and best in smaller kitchens.
Marble countertops are less durable than granite but a good option for busy kitchens.
Slate countertops are stain-resistant, making them easy to clean.
Limestone countertops must be sealed often to prevent scratches.
Acrylic countertops cost less than granite while still providing durability.
Laminate countertops are the most affordable but chip and fade faster.
Wood countertops need monthly sealing to maintain.
The cost to install countertops is $3,105 on average. This project cost can range from $400 to $8,500, depending on the material, edging, and countertop size.
Laminate countertops are generally the most cost-efficient, ranging from $8 to $27 per square foot. On the other hand, slate countertops are considered more luxurious and range from $30 to $90 per square foot. There are also countertop materials priced between those two, including stainless steel, granite, Corian, and wood.
There are several questions or things to know before hiring a handyman to do any work in your home.
What kind of work do they do?
Do they have proper licensing?
Do they charge for estimates?
Is the estimate for both labor and materials?
Do they provide references?
Do you provide a guarantee?
When can you start and finish the job?
Do you have any before and after photos of your work?
How long have you been doing this kind of work?
Do you clean up and dispose of waste when the job is finished?
Yes, you should hire a handyman who’s licensed, certified, and insured, if possible. States have different requirements for handyman licensing, registration, and certifications. If licensing is required in your area, you may pay more for a licensed handyman with experience than one who is not licensed or certified, but you’re likely to get a better end result for your project. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local handymen guidelines.
