"Scheduling the carpet cleaning was really easy. Kevin responded quickly, was able to give me a quote easily, and was able to come and clean the carpets in a quick turnaround. The carpets look great and it was all a painless process."

"I wanted to let you know how happy I am with the whole rug cleaning experience with Residential Rug Care. My heavily soiled rug was beautifully cleaned, at the lowest price quoted on three Angi requests for quote, and picked up and delivered in a pleasant and professional manner in the windows promised. Many thanks for running a great business!"

"Responded quickly and did a great job! Slight bump on the price from over the phone quote to actual eyes on the job, but I think the price was fair. I recommend them for carpet cleaning."

"Marcus, a representative for Zerorex came out to price cleaning my carpets. He was very fair in price and also very personable. An appointment was made and when he came again all went very well and in a timely fashion.I worked with another carpet cleaner about a year ago in another home and the experience did not go nearly as smooth. I would recommend Zerorez to anyone needing any cleaning service that Zerorez offers. No pressure, and a job well done was greatly appreciated. Thanks, Gary"

Carpet Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Yes, vinegar can remove poop stains. How long the poop sits on your carpet will determine how many rounds of solution you’ll need and the length per round. One round should be enough if you’re dealing with a fresh stain, but more stubborn stains might require longer rounds. If you prefer a more effective way to remove dog poop, consider an enzyme cleaner that can break down both stains and odor.

Yes, you can use a hose to clean an area rug. Before you do, it’s a good idea to vacuum out dust and dirt and use a rug brush to remove pet hair and other debris. Just be careful not to be too aggressive, or you’ll damage the material. Bring your area rug outside and wet it evenly with your hose. You can even use a pressure washer on a light setting if you have a new, durable rug. Continue soaking until the water runs clean, and then hang your rug to dry.

Maintenance practices include regular vacuuming, prompt spill cleaning, and periodic professional deep-cleaning to remove embedded dirt particles and rejuvenate fibers.

It might be possible to wash your couch upholstery, but we don’t recommend it. Couches labeled with a “W” or “W/S” on the tag might be okay to wash gently with a couch cleaner or a homemade couch cleaning solution, but you have to be very careful not to get the padding underneath wet, as it will deteriorate and potentially ruin your couch. You should hire a professional upholstery cleaner to guarantee a safe, deep clean for your favorite furniture items.

Patching your carpet in damaged areas or using an industry-grade cleaner on urine spots can help remove stains and scents from your carpet. If odors linger, leave baking soda on the area overnight (dry), then vacuum it up in the morning.
