Grady is the only person (or company) who was willing to take on the job and drive all the way from Pennsylvania to our home in Northern Virginia. There are very few people who do this kind of work anymore (we really searched) and he is an expert in his field. We needed to work around his schedule, because he is in demand in the tri-state area, so it took awhile to schedule the work to begin... but it was worth it."

They fixed an armoire door (antique French, so no hinges) when no one else was able to do so, and restored its veneer and cleaned the glass on the doors which had 200 years of mineral deposits. Next, they reupholstered a barrel chair, doing a beautiful job; it looks better than when I first bought it. Wilson has over 40 years of restoration experience with the Catholic Church in Italy and Ecuador, and it shows. Within just a couple days after contacting him, John Rife came to my house to start working up an estimate of repairs and he immediately pointed out the problems that needed attention. He took his time to survey the problems, seemed to be very knowledgeable about roofing and very confident that they could fix it. He was very concerned about fixing the problem as soon as he could especially since it was causing an electrical hazard. For the quote, he gave me a comprehensive materials shopping cart and a detailed labor estimate which I thought was very reasonable. Once I accepted his proposal, the materials were at the house within just a couple days and the roof and guttering was repaired the very next day.
