Hello! I’m Amanda, owner of Amanda’s-Do-List.\nI recently started my business after being inspired by my mother, who proudly ran a similar company for 15 years and was known as one of the best handywomen in the Roanoke region. Following in her footsteps, I bring the same dedication, reliability, and pride in a job well done.\nI’m passionate about helping people check off their to-do lists so they can focus on what truly matters—without the stress of unfinished tasks. I’m detail-oriented, dependable, and committed to seeing every job through to completion.\nServices include (but are not limited to): cleaning, meal prepping, dog sitting and watching, errand running, decluttering, and home organization. If there’s something on your list, I’m happy to help.\nI look forward to working with you and helping make your days a little easier!

"Have used her for 2 years now. Very conscious of service they provide. Cleaning is very good. Important factor for us in addition to their cleaning was their honesty and trustworthiness. I would recommend them for a professional housekeeper."

"These 4 women are dynamos. They were very thorough, and extremely pleasant. Based on their look-around of my apartment, we agreed they would not dust my numerous books nor wash my windows, which was fine with me They cleaned counters, outsides of kitchen cabinets, inside the oven and refrigerator, and really scrubbed the bathrooms. They only missed a couple of small spots, which I consider much more than satisfactory. Their ad on Angie's List says they'll work till they're done. This is not actually what they expect to do. For the $199, they plan to work for 2-2-1/2 hours, So my only quibble would be that their ad should be more specific about how much time they will spend."

Yes, professional window cleaning is worth the investment. Regular deep cleanings help keep your windows looking new, extend their lifespan, and boost your home's curb appeal. By removing dirt, dust, and other debris, you can reduce the risk of damage and accelerated wear to window frames and components. It also improves your home’s energy efficiency by keeping insulation and weatherstripping in good working order, potentially lowering your energy bills. Furthermore, annual or bi-annual cleanings can help identify problems like leaks or cracks early, before they escalate into expensive water damage. You can often recuperate the cost of cleaning through energy savings and by avoiding premature window replacement.

Professionals use HEPA vacuums, industrial-strength cleaners, and microfiber cloths for effective cleaning without damaging surfaces.

Suggesting regular dusting and spot cleaning to maintain freshness.

Yes, you can use glass cleaner on outside windows, but only after you’ve rinsed away as much debris as possible. Using glass cleaner on top of a layer of dirt will only make it harder to clean.

Window washing usually refers to cleaning dirt and other debris off of the exterior of your windows, while window cleaning is a much more involved process that addresses the outside and inside of the glass, as well as the interior components. Window washing is more to improve the aesthetic of your windows, while window cleaning can improve performance, reduce the risk of damage over time, and even improve your home’s energy efficiency.
