"Work Randy's done has been excellant. The only problem for me, is that he has a very busy schedule and has to fit work on my house in when he has the chance. Based on work done so far I'd highly recommend him. In fact, I have.

"They were very responsive and committed to good customer service. Communication was excellent prior to and during completion of the work. Minor things that came up like some tree trimming and pressure washing that were necessary, but unplanned they handled with no complaints. Very good experience and we will use them again."

Emergency services offered

"Julian provided a very professional contract with all the details covered.
The work started on time but finished late due to three days of weather delay.
We have used Julian's company before and were just as impressed this
time with his professionalism, attention to detail and close contact with us.
He introduced his assistant to us the first day so that we would know him
if he came alone, which he did one of the days.
He color matched paint, proposed a new product for the deck (stain and seal)
and found and fixed many things that were missed in the initial walk-around.
He threw in at no additional cost the door and trim of a backyard shed.
He left us with a small amount of each paint color and product for touch-ups.
All in all, a great experience - we plan to hire them to do the interior next.

"Mr. Breeden did fantastic work! We got more than we paid for. He didn't just do the job well, but the quality of work reflected pride and skill. We wanted to completely overhaul our kitchen cabinets and weren't sure what we wanted was even possible. It was. Mr. Breeden gave our cabinets more than a much needed face lift. They looked brand new. I definitely recommend him for this type of work or any painting. Excellent job on a tough project and a well placed investment!"

Wallpapering questions, answered by experts

If you need a stronger magnetic surface, or you need to use a different type of paint in the room (like waterproof paint in a damp basement), there are other accessible options. You could fit a steel panel over the wall, try magnetic wallpaper, or apply chalk paint instead.

If you want an inexpensive shortcut, hang a pinboard or chalkboard on your wall. These removable options are ideal if you’re a renter who can’t repaint or plan to move in the near future.

White walls are considered a classic and timeless look and will most likely always be in style. A white wall easily blends into any type of home decor style which makes it a suitable option for most homeowners. Another appealing quality about white walls is that if it's not a color someone is going for, the color is easy to paint over.

Many types of wallpaper exist, from removable peel-and-stick options to more permanent options that involve pasting. You can also find wallpaper that you can paint over, wallpaper with a texture, and wallpaper made from various materials, such as vinyl. Some types of wallpaper are washable, which can be a great option for kitchens or if your household has small children.

No. If you overlap seams, the wallpaper will not come out flat. In addition to possibly throwing off your pattern match between rolls, overlapping seems necessary. If wallpaper is properly acclimated, and temperature and moisture conditions are optimal during installation, there is no reason to fear shrinkage as it dries.

Walls should be as smooth as possible before applying peel-and-stick wallpaper. Although you technically can apply wallpaper on textured walls, the peel-and-stick variety won’t last long without a clean, smooth surface for the adhesive to stick to. If you have textured walls, consult a pro about removing the textured finish before moving forward with wallpaper.
