"Lupe and his team did an amazing job with our retaining wall / curb. The project was a joint project for two homeowners. He worked well with both of us. He helped get HOA approval. Our curb appeal was totally transformed. Priced right, started on time, finished on time and did a great clean up afterwards. We will use him again for sure."

"I so appreciate the quick response to my request for help with removing a recliner chair from my home. The chair was too large to fit into my car and I was desperate to get it removed before my move. I was very appreciative that my chair could be picked up on the same day I called. The customer service by Milly Miles Trucking was ??????????. I will use them again as my move is a local one. Thank you again for all the help today?"

"Mr. Chris and his associate were very professional. They took the time to speak to me and address my wants. They did the job on the spot and the work was phenomenal. I’m constantly busy and I can’t thank them enough for eliminating an extra task listed on my agenda. Thank you again, Stacey A."

Leaf Removal questions, answered by experts

If lead is detected in a property, steps should include arranging for professional removal or containment, notifying all occupants, and implementing interim safety measures to reduce exposure.

If your home was built before 1978, there’s a chance that any paint on your hardwood floors could be lead paint—especially if it was already there when you moved in. Because lead is toxic, hiring a licensed pro to remove it is mandatory. The average price for professional lead paint removal ranges from $1,500 to $5,300 and depends on the scope of the project.

When a surface that contains lead dust is disturbed, the dust can float about in the air for roughly an hour before settling again. Since you cannot see the dust, it is important always to wear protective gear when working with any materials that may contain lead paint and to keep children, pets, and others away from the area for as long as possible

The safest way to remove lead-based paint is by letting a professional take over. For most people, lead paint removal costs an average of $3,400. You should never attempt to dry sand old lead-based paint surfaces by hand. Most professionals use a paint stripper to do the job followed by wet scraping, but if you don’t want to remove lead paint, another option is to paint over it. Only consider this option if the old lead paint finish isn’t flaking or cracked.

While the EPA provides guidelines for homeowners to perform DIY lead paint removal, it is a risky process and generally not recommended due to serious health risks and strict regulatory requirements. The process requires precise safety precautions, such as wearing a respirator and protective eyeglasses, creating sealed exits, and using a HEPA vacuum for cleanup. To ensure the job is done safely, effectively, and in compliance with regulations, it is highly recommended to hire a professional lead abatement company. Certified professionals have the necessary training, experience, and specialized equipment (like chemical strippers and HEPA vacuums) to handle and dispose of hazardous materials safely.
