"I found Sky Home Improvements through Angie's List, and gave them a call. They returned my call the next day and were prompt in getting to my home to assess the problem and give me an estimate. Dan went up on the roof and took pictures that he showed me to help me understand what was causing the roof to leak and what needed to be done to fix it. Along with the estimate, Dan gave me a folder which contained Job References, copy of his Contracting License, and a copy of Certificate of Liability Insurance. The following day Dan and Chuck were back and fixed the roof. They arrived on time, and after they finished the repair, took time to explain again what was done. "Jason and company installed a very instructed kitchen floor using 12" x 12" and 6" x 6" porcelain tiles layed on a diagonal windmill pattern. It would not have been such an accomplishment had it been an empty room, however kitchen cabinets and an island made the job that much harder. The result was a piece of art! When the grout dried unevenly in color, he stood by his work and fixed what was the result of a manufacturing issue, with no questions asked. He is very meticulous and detail-oriented, not to mention friendly and courteous. We have already recommended him to several friends and will continue to do so."
"I had a very old school almost cardboard ceiling in both my bathrooms. Very 50's style and completely outdated and frankly falling down. Proper Contracting was able to come out to me and work around my schedule as a busy working mom, which was the first sign that I had called the right people. Their specialist came out and was probably the most professional and personably person I've encounter recently, honestly if they had not been there to do a job I would have had them stay for dinner! Not only were they able to fix the ceiling but I decided to use them for the entire bathroom remodels. They have an amazing staff that helped with the entire design process to make my bathrooms beautiful but also functional keeping my kids in mind. I can not express my gratitude and over-all thrill with this company. Not at all what I expected from a contractor, definitely felt more like family.
