"We hired Richard and his crew for a full bathroom remodel and had a great experience from start to finish. Richard was professional, easy to communicate with, and very detail oriented. He took the time to explain the process, timeline, and options so we knew exactly what to expect. The quality of the work really stood out. The custom vanity, tile work, and overall finish turned out better than we had imagined. Everything feels solid and well built, and the space is both more functional and much more modern. He stayed organized, kept the project moving, and was respectful of our home throughout the process. It can be stressful having construction in your house, but he made it as smooth as possible. We’ve already had friends and family comment on how good the bathroom looks, and we would absolutely hire them again for future remodeling projects."

"The HomeStar employee who came to install the kitchen/basement windows damaged the soffit (she didn't know how to lift the window to avoid doing damage to the soffit) that had just been installed earlier in the day. We were lucky that the soffit and gutter company was able to take out the damaged soffit and replace it without to much noticeable damage. The screen for the kitchen window was also the wrong size. HomeStar ordered another screen and the second screen came and was also the same wrong size. They then ordered a third screen and just this week (almost three months later) I called them to ask about the screen and they informed me it had come in and was the right size but the frame was bent. So, they are now ordering a 4th screen. It is hard to believe that it will take more than 4 month after getting the window installed to get a screen for the window. Also, HomeStar hasn't maintained communication with us regarding the screen . I've had to call them every few weeks to find out the status. Not very concerned about customers once they have paid."

"Robin, the owner, was quick to respond. He asked for photos, then came to the house to do an assessment. He looked it over and we quickly made an arrangement. It was an affordable price! He said, they could start the following day. We told him he could start the day after, which would work better for us. Two days later, as promised he showed up. They were running late, due to traffic, but he was very communicative, and detailed on an ETA. When they arrived they were accommodating asking if we wanted plastic down to protect flooring. The began the job and worked for over 5 hours, leaving after 10 pm. Amazing work and time spent. They came back the next day did the last of the muddying. They asked us to put heaters in the basement due to it being cold and the drywall was not drying. Therefore it took three days to do the job because of that delay, but that was not their fault. They were making sure they were being meticulous about their work, and the work they did was phenomenal! They came back that Saturday morning and finished sanding. I added a last minute project, asking them to fix a hole in our half bath. They quickly fixed that and finished the all the jobs. They were remarkably professional and talented. Robin and his company is a keeper! I will always call them to do a job! When I met him, I felt comfortable, at ease, and secure. I knew he was the one to do our work, and he would do it better than anyone else. If I could, I would give him 10 ⭐️. He is Hard Working Professional Communicative Detailed Orientated Reliable And Trust Worthy Outstanding. The walls are slick, smooth and beautiful! Thank you Corados Drywall! you are an awesome company!"

"Excellent work. They did the drywall, taping, mudding, and texturing, ready for paint. There were a few times that we had some unexpected appearances, but the crew was fast and was always willing to work through any confusion. We were not familiar with the drywall process and Simei was patient and helped us understand and make up for anything that didn't quite go as expected (communication & timeline were the only things in question - but he was always fast to respond so we could figure it out). Quality of work was very good, and we'd definitely recommend them to others."

"These guys were amazing!!!!!!! I can already tell the difference in my house. They were super nice and friendly."

On average, drywall installation costs $2,000, depending on the size, complexity, accessibility, and location of the job. The typical cost range is from about $400 to $6,000, which includes materials and labor. Additional cost factors include the thickness of the drywall, the shape and height of the room, and the level of finish. The level of finish ranges from only hanging the drywall to taping and mudding the seams between panels to painting the walls.
The best type of insulation for your home depends on what you need, so the answer will depend on your specific situation. If you’re building a house, structural panels are easy to install during the building process in addition to being the most energy efficient type. If you live in a warm climate, reflective insulation may benefit you more as it costs less than other insulation types. And for standard attics, loose-fill, spray foam, or blown-in insulation work well.
If you plan to heat or cool your garage, you’ll need to insulate the garage ceiling. Insulating your garage ceiling will make your garage much more energy efficient and save on heating and cooling costs. Not only does insulation make your garage more energy efficient, it helps reduce noise and can extend the life of your garage roof. You can use fiberglass, cellulose, mineral wool, or spray foam insulation for this project.
The cost to skim coat drywall is $1.15 to $1.35 per square foot. Most of the cost is labor, for the necessary skills to apply the skim coat with precision using high-quality tools. This is a job better left to the professionals for the best outcomes.
On average, insulating an attic costs about $2,500, ranging from $1,500 to $3,500, depending on the insulation type, amount, and your attic’s accessibility. Additional cost factors include sealing air leaks, removal or replacement of insulation, and inspections. Types of insulation include:
Blown-in: $1–$4 per square foot
Spray foam: $2–$5 per square foot
Batt: $2–$4 per square foot
Structural insulated panels: $4–$7 per square foot
Loose-fill: $2–$5 per square foot
Reflective: $0.50–$1.50 per square foot
