"Scott from Level Engineering came out to do a inspection on a raised spot on a basement floor in a house I was trying to buy. Thank goodness for Scott because I discovered the house had structural issues and decided to cancel on buying the house. I had a general inspector come out before Scott and he couldn’t find issues with the structure and was there for 3.5 hrs. Scott was there for 10-15 minutes and found a major problem. "Spoke to Sharon on the phone about a mold problem. They were able to send Jim out to my home to inspect the damage within a couple of days. Jim needed to get into the attic to evaluate the damage. He took pictures and explained the nature of the mold damage and the source of the water (leaky seal around the vent). He explained what they would do in order to treat the area. Upon my request they also recommended a contractor and roofer who would address the seal around the vent. We did that first. The mold treatment itself was a two day job. Kris came in the first day and did the first treatment and Jim came in the following day and did the second. They always told us precisely what to expect (vinegary or bleachy smell) and how long (2-3 hours). They were helpful and courteous in every conversation. They were incredibly respectful of our home. They always wore masks and shoe booties (or socks) and they put pads down everywhere they needed to work. I hope to never need them again, but I'll happily recommend them."
