"I was so impressed with Jose. Heâ s very professional. He was at my house for the power washing and then the painting. Every day he was on time and whenever I texted him, he got right back to me within minutes. He did a great job and I highly recommend him."

"I wanted to knock out a wall in my home, which ended up being a very complicated project, requiring the installation of seven sets of beams, as well as the posts, electrical work, etc. accompanying that. Adam was on the job for the vast majority of the work, and Bailey accompanied him frequently. Adam was the main point person, and he communicated well and professionally. He and Bailey did great work, and I trusted them in my home. The electrician was also great, as well as the drywall employee I was given overall great service, and Cransten worked on my home every day until it was completed. The end result is so great!"

"It's hard to find someone willing to take on small jobs right now. Venmex responded immediately to my request for a quote and was able to start the next day. By the time other companies responded, the job was almost done. I'm happy with the quality of their work. They were careful to minimize the mess in my house and cleaned up well when they finished."

Drywall questions, answered by experts

Plastering lasts for around 15 to 20 years without needing repairs or maintenance in most cases, and with proper upkeep, plastering can last a lifetime—sometimes more than 100 years. Plaster repair costs between $1 and $3 per square foot, and you may need these services once every 15 to 20 years or so unless you have a harsh climate where humidity changes are a constant issue. You can also opt to skim-coat plaster for between $0.90 and $1.30 per square foot, which may serve you better in the long run.

Yes, a fan can help drywall mud dry faster by improving air circulation and reducing humidity in the room. Drywall mud dries through evaporation, so increasing airflow speeds up this process. However, you should position the fan to blow across the room rather than directly on the wet mud. This helps prevent drying too quickly, which can cause cracking. You should also use a dehumidifier if high humidity is an issue.

Textured walls can increase the value of your home if the style is modern and seen as a desirable feature and not something a prospective buyer would need to remedy. A good example of this is popcorn texture versus Venetian plaster. The plaster wall would add value to your home, whereas the popcorn texture may be something a new buyer would want to remove.

Through expert matching of texture and paint for an invisible repair.

Yes, you can put paneling over textured walls. Of course, this will come down to personal preference and the type of paneling you want to install. From board-and-batten to shiplap and wainscoting, there are plenty of options to choose from.
