"Mick at Signature Marble & Granite was marvelous. He was always available for any question, no matter how trivial. Mick always made us feel like we were important to the company and his priorities in customer service allowed us to trust him with no disappointments. This company was always on time and never left us waiting. When the work was being done, the professionals were up against a huge obstacle trying to work granite countertops around new cabinets that were crooked and installed with no regard by another company unaffiliated to Signature. Signature Marble & Granite managed to get it to work which was a miracle in itself. This company is simply magic. I would recommend Signature Marble & Granite to anyone in a heartbeat. From the best customer service I have ever experienced to product quality and genius workmanship, I can attest to the fact that this company has no flaws."

"Amazing work! Excellent price! We had an old, damaged subfloor. They let us know, let us decide how much we wanted to fix it. They were very upfront about extra cost of supplies to do the repairs. Really appreciated how up front they were. The floor is beautiful! Smooth, consistent grout lines, no uneven tiles. Advise for future customers, keep dust protection up for the entire project. Also, had some confusion about when the tile would be at the stage when it should not be walked on. Overall, very, very happy!"

"Joe with Grout Doctor did excellent work at a fair price. Very impressed with the shower tile regrouting; looks brand new! Also, did tile repair around the fireplace and front door, with excellent results. Communicated well, used texts, to update schedule etc. Would highly recommend Joe, Grout Doctor, for projects! 3.4.20"

"We were wanting new granite counter tops and Sears came in as a second estimate.  The sales person was here for about 2 and a half hours.  He told me about the strengths and weaknesses of the various products available.  He allowed me lots of time to chose what I wanted and clearly explained the terms and plan should we get the counter tops from Sears.  I did chose Sears because I preferred to work with a company that I could be fairly certain that they would be available to stand behind their product in the coming 15 years.  The granite is guaranteed for 15 years.
The second person who came a couple of weeks later was a carpenter who built a wooden template for the 59 square feet of counter top that we were ordering.
On the 3rd day about three weeks later, a carpenter came at 9 AM and he removed the old counter tops.  There was a minimum of dust from this.  Three men then came and carried this very heavy granite up the flight of stairs to our second floor condo.  The pieces were huge because they had made "L" shaped pieces to avoid having seams in the granite.  They installed the granite and did all of the caulking by noon.  The carpenter had waited here for the installation and then he installed the sink and did any finishing work that needed to be done by 2:30 PM.
Over these several weeks there was a person who kept in contact with me by phone to plan for each day of work.  I could phone him at any time to leave a message and he would return the call.  I always felt that there was someone in charge.  All of the workers were great.  The counter tops are beautiful.  The granite people told me how to take care of the granite and informed me of the porous characteristic of granite.
I do think that we paid more for the counter tops than we would have from somewhere else.  I do not know if someone else would have made the same effort to avoid seams in the granite.  I am happy with the product and the service which is enough for me.  I would chose Sears all over again."

Granite Restoration questions, answered by experts

Maintenance includes regular cleaning with appropriate products, periodic sealing to protect against staining and wear, and addressing minor issues before they escalate.

You can’t change the color of the stone, but you can update granite countertops without replacing them by painting them. Because granite is a porous material, you’ll want to seal them first before painting them so that the paint doesn’t hurt the surface. This is important because you don’t want to devalue your counters by damaging the original surface; even if you don’t like the color now, you or a new homeowner may want to remove the paint someday and return them to their original color. You can also cover them with

Stone restoration and polishing enhance the beauty and longevity of stone surfaces by repairing damage and restoring their original shine and functionality.

Sweep daily, use appropriate cleaners, and avoid abrasive tools to maintain the shine.

If you notice dull spots on your marble floor, that could result from etching. If you’ve used the wrong type of floor cleaner in the past or left a spill unattended for too long, your marble floor may have suffered some surface damage. While there are ways to protect your natural stone from etching, you may have to call in a professional for repairs.
