"Abraham and his team did an amazing job building a paver patio with a built in barbeque, stairs, fire pit, and istalation of our gazebo. They were very professional and had great communication every step of the way. I would highly recommend AR custom landscaping to anyone who is looking to build the patio of their dreams."

"Francisco was very responsive. He answered all my questions and concerns. He understood my goals and made excellent suggestions for my two car concrete driveway project. He also seemed to be the most familiar with the local code requirements. I was prepared to go with his proposal before I even saw the quotes I'd requested. He was very realistic about the time frame for completion and communicated when plans were adjusted. I couldn't be more pleased with the results. Francisco and his crew worked hard and did a great job."

"We had an awesome experience working with TMV Concrete! Tali (owner) and his crew were professional and did amazing work. We hired TMV initially for a concrete driveway and we loved their work so we ended up adding a patio and a new wall to our back yard. We absolutely love it and have recommended Tali to many of our friends and families. He was so easy to work with definitely worth every penny invested. Thank you for bringing our vision to life. Will definitely work with TMV again."

"I wanted a cement cap on my brick retaining wall. A-1 was the most responsive and best bid of everyone. I am SUPER picky. I am a perfectionist. They worked with me. They listened to what I wanted and their priority was to make me happy. They made sure everything was exactly how I wanted it. They were awesome at being on time, communicating and meeting deadlines. I would definitely recommend and use them in the future."

Patios questions, answered by experts

The least expensive way to enclose a porch is with screens. These protect the room by preventing insects from entering and, if you live in a warm climate, provide excellent airflow during hot summer months. Screens cost far less than any other alternative, so if you are against getting permits, spending too much, or enclosing your porch in walls or glass, screens are the best choice.

Whether it's better to add a sunroom or a regular room to your home depends on your goals. If you need extra bedrooms, building rooms with four standard walls makes more sense than adding a sunroom. If you don't need extra sleeping areas but would like to expand the living space of your home, a sunroom makes sense.

The average cost to screen-in your patio ranges from $2,000 to $4,000. How much you spend depends on the size of your patio, the materials used, and construction complexity. Some patio screen room kits are easy to DIY, but you may need to hire a local screened-in porch builder and obtain permits for more complex designs.

A solarium is a luxury addition to a home and can be an excellent breakfast area or reading space, but that doesn't mean there aren't disadvantages. For one, since the room is made of glass it can look dirty very quickly. Another disadvantage is solariums are notoriously hard to balance temperature and will most likely significantly increase your heating and air conditioning bill. Unlike a greenhouse addition to a house, a solarium won’t help you grow as many plants.

Yes, with proper heating or cooling systems and energy-efficient glazing.
