I am a difficult client-to say-the least and the fact that I am giving him a five star rating and a glowing review is something. He helped us develop and design a plan. This part was a bit intimidating for us but he made it easy. He is a unique builder who has an eye for design and the attention to detail to execute. Most contractors, in my experience, are skilled at executing on plans designed by others. Ronnie can do both design and execution. We joked with him that he laid out his tools like a surgeon. Ronnie provided us with a detailed project plan prior from the very beginning. He itemized everything and gave a price for each line item. Most importantly, there were absolutely no surprises in terms of cost. He communicated with us every step of the way about timelines and budgets. The quality of the work in all phases was excellent. If we had concerns, he addressed them quickly and professionally. He always met or exceeded our expectations. His subcontractors are excellent and Ronnie was always there to oversee their work. After completion, he went over the final bill and there was absolutely no surprises. He wasn't the cheapest (or most expensive), but the value (price + quality) was completely worth it. Finally, and this might sound trivial, but he was in our home almost every day for 3 months. He was clear about when he would be there and worked around our schedule (we both work from home). He was easy to have around. I could not recommend Ronnie and Root Homes more highly--if there were six stars--he would have earned that. Hire him if you have a project you will not be disappointed."
