"Martin and Jose came in with all the tools they needed for the job. They repaired the cracked granite and secured/tightened my kitchen faucet. They are innovative and professional. I can't even tell the difference. They sanded and polished the area and caulked the entire area beyond what I asked."

"Speedy response to my request for a quote, speedy scheduling of evaluating the project to provide the quote, fair pricing, and great job done by Isaac. One minor issue found with a single tile on my glass mosaic kitchen tile backsplash and he came back the next day to quickly fix. Outstanding customer service. I will definitely use theit services again and highly recommend to everyone!"

"Braedon Smith cannot be merely described as a gentleman and a scholar of all things granite and marble--he truly rises to the ranks of artistic genius. I cannot believe someone in this cookie-cutter day and age has so thoroughly mastered the best of old-world artisan craftsmanship. Moreover, I have never seen anyone work so assiduously, and cheerfully. He actually arrived early, and worked fifteen minutes over the allotted time. I had to use quite a bit of persuasion to get him to accept the addition amount for those minutes, as he wanted to simply round it down to the two hours it took to perfectly repair a split granite countertop. I have had many folks here working on our aging home, some have been great, some mediocre, and others dreadful, Braedon, however, scores at the pinnacle, having set a completely new bar in excellent service and value for the dollar. I am pleased to accord to anyone considering his services my highest recommendation."

Marble and Granite questions, answered by experts

A water-based, low- or no-VOC sealer is typically a good choice for marble countertops. Choose a sealant that is certified safe for contact with food when applying to kitchen countertops. For high-traffic areas, look for formulas that have heat-resistant and acid-resistant features. While there are economical and convenient spray-on sealers, they don’t coat the surface as effectively as the ones you apply with a pad or brush.

If you're looking to break up a stone slab or some landscaping stone, the process is very similar to breaking up a boulder, and may in fact be easier because it is easier to access and not as deeply buried into the ground.

Rubbing alcohol won’t damage most countertops, and you can mix it with water to create a disinfecting spray to keep your kitchen clean. It’s safer than using bleach on countertops, which can stain and cause discoloration. Be careful with rubbing alcohol when it comes to lacquered or varnished surfaces, though.

Yes, a granite countertop can be cut in place. However, learning how to cut a granite countertop in place is a lot trickier than cutting granite in an open, well-ventilated space. You’ll also need to protect everything in the surrounding area (like your kitchen cabinets and appliances), but even that might not be enough to prevent dust from getting stuck in tight spots. If you absolutely must cut a granite countertop in place, consider hiring a pro to get the job done in the cleanest and safest way possible.

Use a pH-balanced cleaner, avoid abrasive materials, and reseal porous stones like granite annually to maintain durability.
