So if you’re looking for durable paint, go for one with a higher sheen, as it will be easier to clean and ideal for spaces that are subject to damage.

It’s less expensive to paint shutters than to replace them. The average cost to repaint all of the shutters on a house is $350. That’s roughly half the cost of replacing shutters, which is around $720. Many variables go into these figures, of course.
