RSI was quick, efficient, and very professional.  the best part was by hiring RSI we were introduced to Milo Valezuela, an employee at RSI who not only assisted with the replumb, but was also responsible for repairing all of the drywall that they had to remove in order to install the new water lines throughout the house.
Milo did such a fantastic job of repairing all of the drywall and perfectly matching the finish coat that you could not tell where the replumb had been done once the work was complete.  As a result, we hired him to do the drywall and finish work for a a complete kitchen remodel that we performed, and once again the end product was excellent.

RSI is a great replumb company. The actual replumbing was outstanding and we opted for the upgraded pro-plex fittings to increase our warranty from 10 to 25 years (not an up sell by Jamey - our choice). They also put in-place a dedicated recirculation line for our tankless water heater. The RSI team (Kenny and Milo) was expert at locating and replacing the old polybutylene piping with minimal impact to sheetrock, tiles, and fittings. They finished the work early but were delayed in finalizing the project due to a delay from the Regional Building Inspectors, not RSI's fault. Our only suggestions are 1) better daily clean-up, 2) better attention to detail repainting sheetrock (we had to repeatedly point out areas for a 'redo' and adjacent areas for touch-up) - this seemed harder to do that we expected (this is why we gave them a B rather than an A for quality). Jamey was very responsive to us and answered our questions/concerns thoroughly and promptly. We will recommend RSI our neighbors and friends.

Quick, easy, and adhered to what they said they would do in cost and in time. Kenny was on it every step of the way and finished a huge project ahead of schedule.

He first charged me $6600 and then he ended up charging me an extra $300. I trusted this guy because I thought he knew what he was doing. When I sent in a report, it turned out when the inspector came out to do an inspection on it, he didn't even look at the recess lighting. He did not even care that I had sent in a report. I wasted all my money because I needed work done right away. When I asked the guy about it, he said that he didn't know that the inspector wouldn't look at it. He's been years in this business and is a professional. He made a big deal about the whole thing. He charged me for some other stuff as well. He charged me for putting a hose outside my house. He put in things which were not needed. It was just awful. I will never deal with him again. He's just ridiculous. I would not recommend him to anyone. He sounds really nice on the phone but when it comes down to the bottom line, he will over charge you. He also recommended a person to do our electrical work. So he was very upset when I decided to take up some more bids and go to somebody else. The price was awful. I had to pay extra. He was punctual though. He was snarling and rude with me when I asked him questions. I would absolutely not use his services again in the future.

"This posting comes as a surprise to us. As we were opening up the ceiling in the kitchen to route the new master bath piping, we noticed that whoever installed the can lighting cut the TJI's (floor joists) NEARLY IN HALF to install the cans. We then emailed photos to the customer documenting the damage. We had Fountain Valley Electric look at and verify our concerns to the customer. We urged them to be proactive in repairing the compromised floor joists before we had the Building Department come in to do the inspection of our work. We even had our engineer draw repair plans for the customer to help expedite, hence the additional $300 charge, which they paid! After exposing their spigot out the back of the home to attach the new piping, we discovered that it was not a frost free unit as required by code on the exterior of a building. As our proposal clearly did not include new fixtures, we did have to charge the customer for installing a new frost free spigot in that area, again they agreed. I am unclear if this customer's frustration stems from our having to charge additional for the items out of our control, or the helpless feeling of being several hundred miles away during the work process. I agree, we are very nice on the phone and very easy to work with. We always go the extra mile to assure a happy customer, and work very hard at completing our replumb jobs so that no indication of major surgery is evident. However absorbing accusations and insults after working very hard to help push through a potentially dangerous situation did shorten our resolve, we chose the high road, completed our work and moved on. We are sad that this customer has expressed frustration, however our phone number has been the same for 20 years and welcome a call from them to better explain why we felt it necessary to bring to their attention a potentially dangerous situation for them in the future. Sincerely, Jamey Fine Replumb Specialties Inc. 719-495-9090"
