Milo did such a fantastic job of repairing all of the drywall and perfectly matching the finish coat that you could not tell where the replumb had been done once the work was complete. As a result, we hired him to do the drywall and finish work for a a complete kitchen remodel that we performed, and once again the end product was excellent.
"Thank you Mr [Removed member name]for your input, I will discuss with the crew members the attention to daily clean up and the detail painting on the affected areas."
"This posting comes as a surprise to us. As we were opening up the ceiling in the kitchen to route the new master bath piping, we noticed that whoever installed the can lighting cut the TJI's (floor joists) NEARLY IN HALF to install the cans. We then emailed photos to the customer documenting the damage. We had Fountain Valley Electric look at and verify our concerns to the customer. We urged them to be proactive in repairing the compromised floor joists before we had the Building Department come in to do the inspection of our work. We even had our engineer draw repair plans for the customer to help expedite, hence the additional $300 charge, which they paid! After exposing their spigot out the back of the home to attach the new piping, we discovered that it was not a frost free unit as required by code on the exterior of a building. As our proposal clearly did not include new fixtures, we did have to charge the customer for installing a new frost free spigot in that area, again they agreed. I am unclear if this customer's frustration stems from our having to charge additional for the items out of our control, or the helpless feeling of being several hundred miles away during the work process. I agree, we are very nice on the phone and very easy to work with. We always go the extra mile to assure a happy customer, and work very hard at completing our replumb jobs so that no indication of major surgery is evident. However absorbing accusations and insults after working very hard to help push through a potentially dangerous situation did shorten our resolve, we chose the high road, completed our work and moved on. We are sad that this customer has expressed frustration, however our phone number has been the same for 20 years and welcome a call from them to better explain why we felt it necessary to bring to their attention a potentially dangerous situation for them in the future. Sincerely, Jamey Fine Replumb Specialties Inc. 719-495-9090"
