In order to understand the needs and expectations of our customers, we take great care to work and communicate with every customer in a professional manner. "I found Brian Devey through a neighbor of mine that had a project done and he couldn't say enough good things about his work. I knew what the costs were going to be before the work was started and there were no surprises. Brian showed up when he said he was going to and his subcontractors showed up on time and on schedule. My project was extensive. It included a basement addition, which was to be my new laundry room, with a ground floor wall pushed out half the width of the new basement which meant I needed a heavy-duty steel beam for the new wall to sit on with concrete covering the rest and a deck on top of that. The next phase was a wraparound covered deck, new windows, new siding, new roof, and a custom kitchen. We also tore out an interior wall to make a kitchen great room. Brian handled all the permits and the appropriate inspections. I didn't have to do a thing, except pick the colors, which wasn't an easy task. He even helped me with that. We are very happy with the results."

We are a locally owned and operated company that values honesty and integrity, and treats your home as if it were our own. We specialize in Mobile Welding and Metal Fabrication. Our services are customized to the individual project, paying close attention to the details of each project that we're involved with. We look forward to building long-term relationships with our clients and guarantee your satisfaction!

"I needed railings for my front door and a series of railings running down a long set of stairs on the side of my home. It is a small job, and many of the bigger businesses are too busy with large construction projects. Not so with Triad Welding. They responded immediately when I put in my request on Angi's. Conner promptly bid on the project. His bid was the one I went with, and I was thrilled I did. The railings are impressive and significantly enhance the home's street appeal. The railings along the side of the house are also perfect. The railings are sturdy, metal, and built to last. The paint job is well done. If you need any metal work around your home, give Triad Welding a call. "

Metal Fabrication and Restoration questions, answered by experts

A few materials are most commonly used when it comes to building a frame for an outdoor kitchen: wood, steel, and concrete or brick. While there’s no best option overall, each material is better suited to different needs. Concrete and brick are typically more customizable than other options, but aren’t as resistant to inclement weather as steel. Wood is the most affordable pick, but it is more susceptible to rot, mildew, and heat than the others.

Welders typically charge about $65 to $150 per hour, often charging a minimum fee to cover overhead and travel as applicable. Even if the job takes less than an hour, you’ll still pay the minimum charge to cover the welder’s transportation costs if they come to you. You may still pay a minimum price if you take your project to the welder, as they still have overhead of a workshop and materials to expense.

There are a few things you can ask welders before you hire them to get an idea of their experience and ability levels:

  • Are you licensed and certified?

  • How long have you been in the welding business?

  • Do you commonly do the type of welding I need?

  • Do you offer any kind of warranty for your work?

  • Do you charge by the hour or by the project?

  • How long do you expect my welding project to take?

  • What steps do you take to minimize errors in your work?

Welders use a variety of methods in their trade. Different types of welding are better suited for different purposes and contexts. For example, stick welding is a versatile form suitable for most metals and alloys. The most common types of welding include:

  • Stick welding: $100–$1,000

  • Metal Inert Gas (MIG) welding: $250 and up

  • Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding: $250 and up

  • Gas welding: $150 and up

  • Forge welding: $15–$25 per hour

Corrugated metal has been pressed so that it has alternating ridges or grooves. Metal that has undergone this process becomes incredibly strong, with some of the highest strength-to-weight ratios of any material. It's lightweight and has an increased surface area when compared to a flat sheet of metal. Both of these attributes contribute to its coveted strength. It's used for fencing because it's weather- and impact-resistant, rarely needs maintenance, and lasts many years—for a relatively low cost.
