’m a skilled frame carpenter with over 10 years of experience building with wood and bringing projects from plans to reality. I do much more than framing, including installing windows and doors, doing trim work, roofing, and handling a wide range of home repairs. I’m comfortable operating heavy equipment like tractors, telehandlers, forklifts, and skid steers, and I’m confident with most hand and pneumatic tools on a job site. I also have practical experience in mechanics, HVAC installation, plumbing, and small electrical work, and I regularly fix things on my own vehicles and around the house. I learn best hands-on, pick up new skills fast when shown once, and I’m strong at troubleshooting and figuring out how things work so I can solve problems efficiently.

"Jose and his team are exceptional. We hired him for 3 small projects (installing a screen door, installing a barn door in the nursery and replacing water damaged ceiling and adding beams). The quality and thoughtfulness of the work far exceeded our expectations. How can you exceed expectations installing a screen door, you ask? He noticed we had cats and made sure to order an upgraded pet-safe door. All materials were included in his estimate and he consistently ordered extremely high quality materials and finishes. He was always exactly punctual and communication was very clear. "I really wanted to provide a good review to these guys if only for the repeated effort they put in trying to get it right. Once the owner started to blame me and my house for the struggles they had, I decided I needed to write an honest review. So I have a house that was built around 2000 and it has rolled on texture and stamped ceiling texture that is applied using spackling compound. This is very common in this area and prior painters have had no problem matching it. In this case the crew admitted to me they were not professional painters, they did not to keep the area neat (drips on carpet, stain on pool cool deck (photo), stain on garage wall (photo), muddy boot prints on stair carpeting (see photo), etc,), they could not create a straight line in corners where two paint colors merge (see white/blue paint photo), and did not know how to texture. The wall texture had to be done over three times - that is literal. I showed them how to do it. They eventually got that fairly well figured out. The ceiling was another story - the area that had a sheet rock repair was retextured 5 times over three visits (see white ceiling / gray wall paint photos). At first it was totally terrible and I had to tell them what ceiling texture stamping tool to buy from Home Depot (pretty much the main one they sell). One painter told me he watched utube to try and figure out how to use that tool but did not have any experience with texture. He was not satisfied with his own work, to his credit. Finally the owner came and redid it. I was dismayed to find how rough it looks. I have hired someone to re do it. I can not recommend this company. If you do hire them, don't pay up front like I did."

"Rob and his crew installed a root barrier to protect the back of our house from foundation problems from a large oak tree.  They also added catch basins to existing drainage pipes as well as replacing some piping where needed.  Rob spent a generous amount of time taking a good look at our property, assessing what would work best and answering all of my questions. "They did a good job of installation. The only complaint I have is that when they tore the old gutters out some roofing nails fell on to my drive way and they were all not picked up. I was fortunate not to get a flat tire from pulling my cars in and out of my garage. Next time I would make sure they use a magnet to pick up any loose nails."
