"It is my understanding that Space City Lights primarily focuses on outdoor lighting (Outdoor lighting was the only option I could select above). But this job was actually to remove my existing indoor lighting at my house, and then add in dimmable recessed lighting throughout the home (first and second floors). Overall, very pleased. The job was finished yesterday and so far, so good. Brent and his team managed to add in the lights without damaging the surrounding drywall on the ceiling. Pricing was attractive. Only slight negative was the job took an extra day - but they communicated that early on as the project was ongoing. So it wasn’t a problem for me. They also removed and installed 3 ceiling fans. Those are also working well so far."

"This is an engineered wall which is intended to preserve the clay pad upon which our home was constructed.  The home is on a downhill slope.  The contractor respected all manufacturer recommendations regarding installation.
The crew seemed seasoned, both in terms of the type of work, and also as a working team.  The management partners are hands on participants and spent every day on site.
The project included not only hardscaping, but also plumbing and electrical aspects.  The crew seemed comfortable performing the required tasks.
We found the guys to be pleasant to have around.  Given that the blocks weigh about 50 lbs each, the temperature was as high as 105, and the work surface challenging, the cheerful smiles were actually something of a miracle.
We had agreed generally on the wall design, but left many design decisions up to them.  We are very pleased with the aesthetics of the final product.  Their instincts are good.
Our greatest frustration was probably with regard to communication and scheduling, BUT this job was booked during the most rainy Spring on record, and the installation took place over a 2.5 week period when temps were above 100 every day.  That at
least partially explains the delayed start and the longer than expected execution.  At those temperatures, a break is required after about every 20 minutes of labor. 
The above concerns are offset by the fact that because management is on-site, feedback is immediate and there are no communication problems during the project execution."

"We hired Mike Ball's company to clear out a badly overgrown and waterlogged part of our yard, to install a stone patio, improve the drainage, and create flower beds. They did a fantastic job! Mike really knows his stuff, giving us good ideas about design and landscaping. They also worked quickly but thoroughly, were very reliable, cleaned up thoroughly after themselves, and were priced very reasonably. Very happy customers; we'll definitely be back!"

"Rob and his team are truly amazing! They came in and efficiently installed a root block in our backyard on a Thursday. The following Tuesday they returned and installed a drainage system for our backyard with three catch basins and run off into the street. In the front yard they cut the grass into sod pieces before digging the trench and when finished replaced the grass making it almost imperceptible that they had done the job. Rob is an encyclopedia of information about trees and landscaping and he is always willing to share what he knows. I highly, highly recommend hiring him and his team (some of whom have been with him 16 years) He is honest, knowledgeable, and very fairly priced!"

"They did an excellent job! The crew of either 6 or 7 men got here promptly at 1:00 pm and got right to it. They removed all my solar lights that were along the path and set them aside so they wouldn’t be damaged. The post oak tree had been losing all its bark and had a fungus. They started with the branches which had to be 30-40 ft high. It began raining hard at around 3pm but they kept working. They had everything chopped up and losded onto their truck by 5pm or so. Eric the owner is very knowledgeable about all kinds of trees. I was very happy with the work they did and will use again."

The crew was very professional, they showed up on time and kept an immaculate job site while they were working.  The  job took several days and their attention to detail was above par!  I have worked with some other subpar landscapers in the past, but never again!  I will be a repeat customer for this company.  The owner well informed about fertilization schedules.  She made me feel at ease that I had made the right decision to invest my hard earned money into my landscape and her services!  She has also agreed to take on the maintenance for my property at a very reasonable rate! Their contract includes all the key services needed for keeping up the beautiful landscape they created for my home!

"Mack and his team are grade A professionals. We are a young family and decided to expand our home to continue to grow in and turn into our forever house. This was a large undertaking and a huge decision we did not take lightly. The scope of the project ended up being the creation of almost a completely new home. "When I requested the service from Curtis for Saturday I understood the cost would be $142.50 per hour. However, Curtis described how they did not charge extra for having a helper accompany the electrician. I interpreted this to mean that two people would be dispatched to do the work, The cost seemed reasonable for two people on a Saturday. Only one person came and he was not an electrician. He was a journeyman. The estimated time for completing the work was 4 hours. The work was not completed in 10 hours (2 hours for lunch) after which I sent the journeyman home and resolved to complete the work myself. The quality of the electrical aspect of the work seems acceptable. The only error I have discovered so far is that the light switch was installed upside down. I have not yet installed the fan units, so I have to reserve judgement on those electrical connections. Had a helper been dispatched with the journeyman I think the work would have proceeded according to the 4 hour time estimate that Curtis originally made. After some discussion Curtis reluctantly reduced the number of hours to 6 from the 8 hours charged by the journeyman. Overall this performance seems about average for a service company. In the future I will search for above average performers.
