"Ross did amazing redoing our flakey peeling tub. He communicated with us (tenants) and gave us a heads up on arrival and even gave us an extra 20 minutes so we could get dog out of apartment and clear the bathroom for the technicians. 10/10 recommend. Bathtub finished beautifully!!! Ross is the best!!!!!!"

"The crew did a great job of cleaning up the yard, removing leaves and debris, trimming shrubs and groundcover, mulching the bedding areas, and installing new grass where needed. They were very professional and performed some extra tasks that I had not expected. The yard looks better than it has in years. I am already planning to hire them for additional work. Very satisfied!"

"I don’t typically leave reviews but Dobi Pressure Wash definitely deserves one To start off it was worth way more than what I paid for ! My driveway and sidewalk look brand new, Tony was fast, efficient, and such a respectful worker. I haven’t had many good experiences with other companies so it was very refreshing to see the care behind all the work. Earned a customer for life !"

"Justin was quick to get back with me and very thorough with his work. I had a leak that I thought started in my kitchen but was actually from one of my bathrooms; he made sure the leak was taken care of and dried out all the water. He was very patient and explained everything to me throughout the whole process. Especially being a younger woman, I didnâ t feel like he was trying to over sell me or get extra money out of me - I would definitely recommend him!"

"They are great to work with. They installed the loam, sod and plants for our project in Dripping Springs. It turned out great and is the nicest yard on the block. I would highly recommend them for any landscaping project!"

Leaf Removal questions, answered by experts

The EPA enforces hazardous waste laws and ensures people dispose of their hazardous waste responsibly. Depending on where you live, your state’s hazardous waste regulatory agency may also enforce these laws. Individually, it’s up to each household to properly dispose of their hazardous waste.

Lead toxicity comes from inhaling lead or consuming it. Before the 1980s, when the government banned lead from consumer use, it could be found in paint, plumbing, pipes, ceramics, and even gasoline. Lead paint is toxic for the same reason lead itself is toxic, which is why lead poisoning from paint presents the same as lead poisoning from water or food sources, with a slight increase in respiratory symptoms vs. digestive symptoms. Lead paint is most dangerous when it’s old and peeling, cracking, or otherwise disturbed. This increases the concentration in the air and, therefore, in breathable air.

You do not have to remove lead paint if the surface is not chipping or peeling or if there are no pregnant people or children under the age of six who live in or regularly visit your home. Lead paint is a particular risk for young children whose brains and bodies are not fully developed. Experts strongly recommend that you call a pro to remove lead paint if it’s peeling or flaking, no matter who lives in the home. You can experience lead poisoning by breathing in or ingesting just a small amount of it.

Lead removal is crucial in older homes to eliminate risks of lead poisoning, which can severely affect health, particularly in children, by impacting development and cognitive functions.

Professional lead-paint abatement companies use a variety of methods to remove lead-based paint, depending on each particular situation. Some of the most common methods include:

  • Total removal: $8–$17 per square foot

  • Demolition and replacement: $1,000–$15,000 per project

  • Encapsulation: $4 per square foot

  • Enclosure: $10 per square foot

  • Chemical stripping: $10–$17 per square foot
