"I own an older fixer upper and have many contractors complete work at my house over the last 10 years. David and his crew was the most profession, prompt on time start/finish, and cleaned up everything. It was nice not needing to clean up mess afterwards. He laid tarps down for the walk way, no mess left behind. The work was A+++ quality."

"We couldn't be happier! We recently had all of our baseboards in the house replaced and needed them caulked, primed and painted. In addition, we need our master bathroom and guest room painted. We already had the paint for the two rooms, but they had to match the paint for the baseboards and got it perfect. It took the team two days to get everything done. I couldn't be more pleased with the finished result! :)"

"Ever responded to same day to my email and came out to give us an estimate for our extensive project. He and his team are extremely professional. They immediately gave me an estimate, offered to epoxy our garage floor for free and emailed me a detailed estimate with the specific costs of each part of the job that evening. We did get estimates from 3 other contractors, one of whom never emailed us an estimate, another one who bid almost $10,000 more and a third who discouraged us from doing parts of the project. Ever and his team were punctual and responses immediately to texts or calls. They were meticulous, concerned about the artistic details, made excellent suggestions and several times redid parts of the project when either they or we were not completely satisfied. Their work exceeded our vision and expectations, and our house feels like home now."

"This handyman did a great job, he was very cautious with his mess and made sure that he was not dirty. They were very courtesy, nice, and professional. Every time they left for lunch or left the house they would let me know. They swept up all of their messes and didn't leave a mess and the end quality work was great."

Wallpapering questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can put wallpaper in a bathroom, but whether it's a good idea depends on several factors. Because bathrooms are high-humidity areas, it's crucial to choose a water-resistant wallpaper, such as one made of vinyl. Proper wall preparation is also critical to ensure the paper adheres well, even after many steamy showers. The wallpaper's placement also affects its longevity; it will hold up better on an accent wall or away from direct water contact, rather than immediately next to a shower. A well-ventilated bathroom will yield the best results.

To layer wallpaper over wallpaper, inspect your existing wallpaper for problem areas. Damaged wallpaper should not be covered. If it’s okay to proceed, prep by turning off the electricity and removing any outlet and switch covers. Dust your walls and lightly rinse them to prevent the existing paper from peeling. Apply primer, then apply your new wallpaper.

Yes, you can apply peel-and-stick wallpaper over wood paneling, but it requires significant preparation for a good result. Peel-and-stick wallpaper has a weaker adhesive than traditional wallpaper and works best on smooth, non-textured surfaces like painted or primed drywall. Because wood paneling is often textured with grooves, any flaws in the underlying surface will likely be visible after application. To prepare the paneling, you must ensure the surface is free of cracks, holes, and protrusions by filling any indentations and sanding rough spots to create a smooth surface. An alternative is to remove the paneling and apply the wallpaper directly to the underlying drywall or plaster, provided it is in good condition.

If you prefer peel-and-stick to traditional wallpaper, you can skip the priming process. Many manufacturers don't require an additional primer if you’re installing peel-and-stick wallpaper to painted walls. However, if you’re applying peel-and-stick wallpaper to unfinished drywall, you’ll need to apply a primer first.

Yes, many types of peel-and-stick wallpaper can be used in bathrooms, especially those made of vinyl or polyester. However, its success depends heavily on the level of moisture and ventilation. In bathrooms with good ventilation, such as those with fans, it can be a durable option. Peel-and-stick wallpaper may not adhere as well as traditional wallpaper in very humid conditions. For bathrooms that see a lot of moisture, like a kids' bathroom or a full bath with a steamy shower and poor ventilation, even high-quality peel-and-stick wallpaper is likely to peel over time.
