"Have used this company for many years. However, as someone else noted, service has fallen off. Parts of lawn unmowed, edging of flower beds half done or not at all. Contacted company about it but service remained the same. Sure, they’re quick (20 min for a 3/4 acre yard) and price good ($60-70 week). However, this week, the camel’s back was broken. They came for a spring mowing, missed some areas and… weed whacked some of my flower beds with flowers growing in them!! I have NEVER asked them to clean or manage my beds (nor would, just a bunch of mower guys with no experience with lawns). Contacted owners (who happen to be neighbors- considering going to their house and digging up their flower beds). ‘Sorry bout that’ is what I got. Not paying for the damage and they are fired. There are heaps of other companies. Don’t use this one."

First, dig a hole that’s the same depth as the root ball and wide enough for the roots to spread out fully. Before placing the tree in the hole, pour water in to help get rid of any air pockets in the soil.

If you can find an easy delivery option and have the space to store a large amount of topsoil, buying in bulk will give you more bang for your buck.

The right depth depends on your intended use for the area. For instance, pea gravel for walkways and patios typically only needs to be about 2 to 3 inches deep. However, driveways and other areas with heavier loads may require 4 to 6 inches for better stability.
