I was very happy. They removed several hard to remove old shrub bushes and planted new rose bushes for me. I would definitely hire them again.

Owner is obviously interested in doing large expensive projects, like installing an English Tea Garden, or perhaps an aquascape, pondscape,  or something that will be very profitable for his company. His company is simply way overbooked, overpriced and not interested in helping out a couple on disability who cannot work outdoors in intense Texas summertime heat. Overall the work was merely average, hurried, and I'm sorry to put it this way; but I would prefer to communicate in English, not an amalgamation of several different versions of local vernacular. When the job was finished, Jason and his crew simply drove off without so much as a thank you, a receipt, or even an invitation to inspect his work. I will never use his company again and would never dream of recommending him to anyone who simply wants some yard work performed.

HORRIBLE experience.  Half the roses died.  A total of 72 were planted.  He said I over-watered the roses, and yet the ones that died were interspersed with ones that did well.  I had my regular gardener look at the dead roses.  He looked at the soil, and then asked me if they used Round-Up.  Yep.  Jason sprayed the area multiple times with Round-up.  This explains why some plants did fine and others died.  The Round-up was only applied to certain areas, and it was those areas in which the roses died.

When asked about a guarantee on the roses, he said it wasn't in the contract.  "My bad" for not asking about that.  I presumed any "professional" would guarantee their work for at least a few months.  Not Jason and Jason's Lawn Care and Landscaping.  So I'm out hundreds of dollars because I have to replace 34 dead roses which died due to excessive Round-Up sprayed by Jason.

When we had a disagreement about how to resolve the issue (He basically gave me a 'take it or leave it' offer with regards to resolving the matter)  He then told me he recorded all of our conversations!  He told me he was a law enforcement officer.  He said there was no "expectation of privacy" in our conversations (which took place in my front yard) so he could tape our conversations at will.  UNBELIEVABLE. 

So, we have a landscape dude who is also a "vice president" of a 'rent a cop' business (Pro Security Group) run out of a strip mall building in Robinson who secretly records conversations with landscaping clients.  I can only surmise that the reason he does this is because he has had multiple unhappy clients in the past and figures this is one way to deal with the situation.

This guy is Nuckin' Futs!!  Talk about Orwellian (1984).  Spooky.  Creepy.

I would NEVER do business with him again!

Work went great and it looks great.

Jason transformed the front of our home by taking out the old bushes, trees, plants, and replacing with mulch, flowers, trees, and knock-out rose bushes. He came to our house initially to look at the project and to work up an estimate. We talked about what would look good and what would be low maintenance. A few weeks later Jason came with his crew and they had the job done within an afternoon and it looks fabulous! I am completely happy with their work.

Jason was very timely and professional in reviewing my scope of work and providing a written estimate.  Timing to begin my work was a little longer than promised and expected due to previous commitments and cold weather that slowed progress.  Once he started the work, it was all finished within one day with the exception of the stone around the tree beds.  This was due to Jason's care and diligence in trying to find stone that matched existing stone in my yard.  I appreciated this attention to detail. I would recommend Jason for anyone looking for good quality lawn and shrub service at a fair price.  I suggest anyone allow some lead time for any work with an important target date.

I use this company on a monthly basis.  The come clean out all of the weeds from our flower beds around our swimming pool & cut back all of the shrubbery when needed.  They also put down new mulch when needed.  They are VERY affordable and do an exceptional job for the price!

We had a verbal agreement for $120 month for lawn service. I got a bill for $173.20 and I called him and he said that is what he charged weekly. I told him that was not our deal. He told me that if I do not pay him he will put a lien on my house.  There was some damage and he said he wasn’t responsible for it. I got a certified letter from him stating he was turning me into collections. I feel he is taking advantage of our situation since we are moving. I am going to pay him what our verbal agreement was. The workers were courteous and professional, I just thought Jason was unprofessional and dishonest.

I found this company on Angie's list, which had been ranked very high by previous customers.  However, I did not receive quality service as others had mentioned.    I was very pleased with the flower beds.  They weeded and replaced gravel and rocks in that space.  It looked great.  The same was true for the other flower beds.  The landscaping was rather traditional, nothing outside of the box.The grass was another story.  It took several weeks for Jason to commit to a time to lay the sod.  While we did have some rain in the early spring, it quickly became apparent that he was too busy and my job was not a top priority.  When the grass was finally ready to be laid, he arrived early in the morning to tell me what they were going to do.  I didn't see him again.  His employees put down the front lawn that looked good.  I did notice some brown squares of sod.  They said they would be back the next day at 8 (Saturday).  They didn't show.  They came on Monday instead.  When I arrived home after work on Monday, the crew was already gone.  I couldn't believe some of the grass they put down.  It was brown, weed-infested and did not look like St. Augustine, which is what I had requested.  When I called Jason to inform him, he said that it takes a week or so for the grass to green up.  Not wanting to be unreasonable and confrontational, I did not push the matter.  I walked around the yard again the next day.  I just couldn't believe i was going to pay so much to have dead weeds in some areas of my lawn.  I called him early Wednesday and said I needed him to come look at that grass.  He came right over and I showed him the unhealthy grass.  He finally admitted that some of it was not good.  I asked why anyone would put such unhealthy grass down.  He said it must have been a bad pallet.  He did have the grass removed and replaced with better grass the next day.  2 weeks later, I still had about 2 dozen brown, dead squares.  I called, and he had it replaced.  I could tell he was not happy with my insistence, but I was equally unhappy with his lack of quality customer service.  I ended up paying him the full amount because he did not offer a discount because of poor service.  Although he was a nice, polite person,  I will not use him again in the future.  

I first used Jason's Lawn Care about a year ago to come out and do some clean up work on our landscaping around our swimming pool.  Jason's did an excellent job at a VERY reasonable price.  I now have them come out once a month just to maintain the flower beds.  They always do an exceptional job!
