"The owner Chris, advised me on the work that would be required to do the job properly. The job was priced as materials plus labor so I could see exactly what my ladder choice was going to cost and how much he was charging for installation. The ladder was priced at his cost. The job was done properly and the area cleaned after the work was completed. -- Most important I believe Chris can be trusted to be up front about cost , work and material requirements and timeliness."

"I needed my porch to be fixed before and certain deadline. The guy Alex came out yesterday to look at it and gave a price. Then he came back out this morning and now my porch is safe to walk down them. He was awesome repairing the porch for me. Good service, very respectful, nice on doing the job. He saved me $140.00 that I would have to of paid my manager if it wasn't fixed by Tuesday 9-15-26. Awesome job and only 5 stars isn't enough stars for his job."

"Work consisted of disassembling a pergola. Mark Clarke did a superior job and stayed focused throughout. He is truly a professional and gained our respect and admiration. We would select him for certain for our next project! By the way he is a Navy Veteran and it shows!! Joe and Patti"

Fire Pit Installation questions, answered by experts

Short circuits can cause fires, electrical burns, and electrocution, which can lead to serious injury or even death. That’s why it’s important to take preventative measures to prevent short circuits, like getting annual electrical maintenance and an electrical inspection every two to five years, depending on the age of your home.

Regular inspections ensure no blockages, structural stability, prevention from fire hazards, and maintenance of optimal heat venting, safeguarding household safety.

DIY smoke detectors are possible, but professional installation ensures compliance with fire codes and optimal safety.

Ensure you have a safe environment for them to work on, and there aren’t items such as logs, build-up of yard materials, missing or damaged shingles, and weak areas on the roof. Communicate any known electrical issues with contractors at the beginning of the project, and consider hiring an electrician to fix those. Finally, if you are attempting the project yourself, do so when there isn’t any rain, and you can safely get your footing on the roof using proper equipment, such as an extension ladder. Don’t attempt this alone, and have a helper nearby to assist.

You should change the batteries in your smoke detectors at least once per year. Mark it on your calendar or make it a holiday or birthday tradition so that you always remember it. You should also be testing your smoke alarms monthly to ensure they’re working properly and can alert you in case of an emergency.
