"A team of two arrived within the designated arrival window.  They were professional.  I did not like what they used to mop the tile floor, it left a film on the floor that I have since cleaned.    I requested an estimate for biweekly cleaning service and the price point was too high ulitze the service again.

"within minutes, I received a call from the very friendly and professional Michelle. Calling me all the way from California! Michelle explained the services she could and could not offer in terms of my needed furniture repair. And while she cannot help me specifically with my furniture issue, she offered a very generous solution: she is going to send me leather dye for the scratched ottoman and talk me through the repair, should I need help! Michelle also explained that she deals with customers all over the country, in need of leather and purse and clothing repair, cleaning, and restoration. Based on my extremely positive experience with Michelle, I will be sure to call her in the future when I need help with fur, leather or suede goods!!!"

"Showed up on time. Courteous and professional. Did the job in a timely manner. Quoted and honored a good price. We will use them again, once a year, to clean our dryer duct. Likely we would use them if we ever have our A/C ducts cleaned, too."

"There was a slight mix up about the cost - I would have preferred a specific cost per item ahead of time rather than giving me general amounts and then the actual cost revealed as the service guy was at my house ready to do the job"

Couch Cleaning Services questions, answered by experts

Air filters with a MERV rating of 11 or higher need to be changed every three to six months. If your filters are incredibly strained because of environmental factors, such as living in a smoggy, pollen-rich area with a large household, you may need to change your filters every two months regardless of the MERV rating.

Yes, professionals can replace worn-out motors to restore efficient airflow.

Yes, a dirty air filter can cause a higher electric bill. That’s because clogged filters make it harder for air to flow through your HVAC system, which forces it to work harder and use more energy. According to the U.S. Department of Energy, replacing dirty filters can save you between 5% and 15% in utility costs.

Most services take 2-5 hours, though full unit replacements or extensive repairs may take longer.

The lifespan of a whole-house air purifier or filtration system depends on several factors, but with proper maintenance, they are built to last. A whole-house system that integrates with your home's ductwork can last 10 to 15 years, or even for the entire lifetime of your existing HVAC system. To maximize the unit's lifespan, perform regular cleanings, change filters as recommended, and schedule an annual inspection to catch potential issues early. The system's longevity also depends on its frequency of use and how hard it must work to maintain your desired air quality. For comparison, smaller, portable air filter systems typically last between five and ten years.
