"Daniel was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable, and did a great job. I really didn't know what to expect price-wise and have now found out electrical work is truly expensive. I had an outlet replaced, a ceiling fan installed (included cutting a hole and pulling over wire from 4 feet away) and a hole cut and box installed so I could install a light in another room; those 3 projects took about 3 hours (including discussion) and was $700. I am happy with the work and felt very comfortable having Daniel in my home. He explained everything well. Appreciated all his help and would hire them again."

"The 2 owners (Mike and Mike) called first to let me know they were on their way; arrived on time; were very pleasant; repaired and serviced both my sprinkler system and landscape lighting system, including making a trip to get needed parts. After completing the job (2-3 hours), they handed me the invoice, which literally seemed so low that I asked if they made a mistake -- if I was under-charged. They explained that all of the labor was included in the $80 service charge to inspect the irrigation system. I thanked them and informed them that they are now my new sprinkler/lighting guys. I will use them from now on, and I highly recommend them."

They walked me through the entire process and educated me on what professional lighting truely is. I feel like I walk out to my own 5-Star resort every time I go to my backyard. The quality of the fixtures they installed are great and the are backed with a manufacturers warranty. Speaking of warranty and the level of customer service, my neighbor and friend had a system installed several years ago. He had a bulb go out, called Enhanced Outdoor Lighting since bulbs are warrantied as well, Dan was there within a couple of days to replace and handled the warranty replacement himself. Wow! "     In order to complete to layout design I submitted a drawing of the room as well as a series of photos.  The website for Homemade design has a questionaire what helps define your overall tastes in design.  I joined Pinterest and started boards for furniture, lighting, bookshelves which were reviewed.  Homemade design comes to New York periodically to meet with clients not in the Boston area and this gave us a chance to meet and select furniture and upholstery at the New York Design center.  This is an extra charge but well worth it since I was completely overwhelmed.  They were extremely patient and guided me through the process.  At one point I decided to move the television which turned out to be a bad idea -- they explained why it would not worked and I concurred competely after I understood the reasons.  So, they are not afraid to tell you if you going down the wrong road. I live in a New York City townhouse and forget that I do not have a whol lot of space even though my house is huge for NYC. So, I had to be told how to "scale" everything to the space we had to work with, which was helpful
I purchased the service several months ago but was not ready to actually decide on the actual purchases until recently. So, the delay in completion is because of my schedule.  I now hope to finish everything by September.
