"I wish you could smell through a photo. My house smells amazing. Eco friendly cleaning company absolutely did an amazing job. We had issues with our dog peeing on our carpet. The house smelled absolutely horrible so we decided to get the carpet cleaned. On top of that my son was allergic to whatever was previously used on our carpet. Wayne came out and was so kind and patient and professional. I asked the same questions over and over again as I wasn’t understanding and he explained it all to me without getting frustrated. Because they use eco friendly products I don’t have to worry about my son being allergic to the stuff they used and my house no longer smells like dog. Thank yall so much for everything. 10/10 recommend"

The timeline for smoke damage remediation can range from a single day to several months, depending on the extent of the damage, the size of the affected area, and the methods used. For minor damage, such as removing cigarette smoke odors from a single room, the process might take only one to two days and typically involves deep cleaning, painting, and sealing walls. Some methods, like ozone treatments, can take 24 to 48 hours, though multiple treatments may be necessary. More extensive smoke damage, such as from a house fire, can take three weeks or longer to clean and treat. If significant material restoration or replacement is needed, the timeline can extend to six to 12 months. A smoke damage restoration professional can provide a more accurate estimate for your specific situation.

There might be cases where cleaning your furniture yourself might save you in overall costs, which could total between $75 and $200 per piece of furniture. If your furniture is only lightly soiled, you can investigate the best way to clean your item by checking the care tag and tackling it yourself. However, keep in mind that knowing the right way to clean your item is crucial to maintaining its quality. If you’re unsure of the best way to clean your furniture or if you have a heavily soiled item, it’s best to contact a furniture cleaning service.

Vinegar is great at lifting food-based stains from carpets and upholstery, but some people prefer to avoid using this strong-smelling cleaner out of fear that the scent will linger long after getting rid of the spot. If you're not afraid of the pungent smell, try mixing equal parts vinegar and water in a spray bottle in place of the DIY solution we suggested above. Then, use these tips to remove the smell of vinegar from your home.

Once you’re done cleaning your upholstered chairs, here are a few ways you can keep them looking fresh for longer:

  • Use removable chair covers that are machine washable

  • Blot spills as soon as you see them

  • Consider treating the fabric with a stain protector

Yes, hairspray can remove ink from carpet, but only because it contains alcohol. Alcohol is the solvent that dissolves the active ingredients in hairspray, which makes hairspray behave similarly to rubbing alcohol when applied to a stain.
