Emergency services offered

"I received six quotes from Angie’s list. Hugo was the first one to call me. He came by the same day and provided a free quote. Once approved he immediately performed the air duct cleaning, installation of uv light in my hvac plenum, fireplace flue cleaning, repaired brick mortar and waterproofing of the chimney top of my house. He is very professional and kept me informed along the process sending before and after pics. I like that the work is done efficiently and it has warranty. Hugo shows pride in his work, well done. Thank you Home Air Quality Services! I will recommend you to friends and family."

Customers say: Quick response

"Ronnie and his crew were so professional. They arrived on time and were very careful of our belongings, spreading cloths below the vents to catch the debris. We don't believe that the vents had ever been cleaned. It was a very long job and we have high ceilings but they kept at it all day. We highly recommend them to everyone."

I find joy in both the process and the results. For me, cleaning isn’t just a chore; it’s a way to create calm, order, and a sense of accomplishment.

Sonic Cleaning questions, answered by experts

No, you should not use a pressure washer or power washer on roof shingles, including asphalt shingles. The high water pressure is too strong and can damage the shingles by loosening their adhesive, forcing water underneath them, or causing them to fall off. The safer and better option is soft washing with a pump sprayer. For best results and to avoid damage, consider hiring a local roof cleaner to clean your shingles safely.

A green roof is a roof design that includes a thin layer of vegetation on the roof surface. It’s an environmentally friendly option. Some green roofs may look like they have moss or algae on them, causing neighbors to suggest that you clean the roof. However, you should never try to clean a green roof, as any cleaning methods you deploy will likely kill the vegetation.

You may become so frustrated with the look of moss on your roof that you contemplate whether to clean or replace your roof. Fortunately, you don’t have to go as far as replacing it. After cleaning the moss, you can use a chemical solution to keep it away. For further protection, trim branches that overhang the roof, as fallen seed pods and leaves on the roof allow moisture to collect, encouraging moss growth. Consider adding zinc-coated flashing to the roof, too. As rain washes across the zinc, it leaves zinc particles behind that inhibit moss growth.

Vinegar, bleach, chlorine, barley straw, and a bevy of dedicated algaecides can kill algae, which is the easy part. Preventing algae from returning can be a struggle for some homeowners, but keeping the patio well-maintained and clean is a good first step.
