"If you have a leaky basement or are thinking about building a new house with a basement, don’t even consider using anyone except Willie and The Basement Kings. We rebuilt a lake house in 2012 that was destroyed in a wildfire, and the walkout basement flooded every spring. The builder spent thousands of dollars trying to fix it, but it flooded eight times in five years. I found The Basement Kings on Angie’s List, and Willie met me at the lake house the next day. He thoroughly inspected the basement and told me exactly what the problems were and how to fix them. Willie has an impeccable work ethic. He and his crew finished their work today. We have a lifetime guarantee that the basement will stay dry. He took photos of the work every day and texted them to my husband. It was hard, tedious, dirty work, but Willie takes pride in doing the job right, and his price was fair for the amount of work and materials involved. This guy eats, sleeps and dreams about basements. SO glad we hired him. You will be too!"

"I had already picked out a slab I liked from Daltile Granite. Claudia met me there. Her Pricing was fair. Her attention to customer serviece was best I've seen in a very long time. Emails and text were quickly responded to. We wanted a one basin white granite composite sink which she was able to order, and it did not hold up our install at all. We went to the shop to approve the layout and cuts of the slab. Shop was smaller and more busy than many, probably not where I'd let a kid go in, but equipment cutting slab was high tech. Installers did a good job. No complaints about them at all. In fact, my cabinet guy had not leveled the bar very well. They leveled the bottom of the bar with simmys to make sure granite set straight with no slants. We had purchased 3 large slabs, and had about 1/3 of one left. They allowed us to keep the unused portion of the slab for a future BBQ we will be installing. No doubt I will call them to come out and cut it. Very pleased. Ended up $1500 less then our builders suggested company who was basically cushioning the bid becasue we did not pick a slab from thier lot. My master bath, guest bath, and island kitchen look beautiful! "
"Everything went well and was done in a timely manner. He will return at a later date (after rain) to finish replacing drywall in garage when we are certain the leak is fixed."

Homemade Design (HMD) is America's leading online interior design service that provides a dedicated interior designer to work closely with you, to design and decorate your home for one extremely affordable fixed fee per room based on services required. \nWorking with your HMD interior designer is like having an interior designer best friend who evaluates your existing space, studies images of rooms you love, understands your budget constraints and explores the functional considerations that fit your lifestyle. HMD is the only flat-fee virtual consulting service that allows collaboration at multiple points in the process with our client. We help our clients navigate the design process by breaking it down into a linear process. First we analyze their likes and dislikes in terms of style and color, navigate budget vs. quality challenges and analyze the function of the room. Next we help you choose the major pieces in the room that will determine style and the overall color palette, and then we specify products and sources that fit within those parameters.\nThe design process is not universal to every design firm (or TV show.) Please call or email – we’d love to chat about your project and how we anticipate working with you to create your dream home!
A prefab, or prefabricated garage, requires far less construction work than one with a foundation and frame, but it’s not nearly as desirable and may not be a worthwhile option. A prefabricated garage won’t be as durable or long-lasting, and it doesn’t provide the same protection for your belongings and vehicles. Plus, you can use a standard garage for more uses—like living space—whereas a prefab garage only serves as a space for storage. Lastly, building a traditional garage will add to your home value, while a prefab garage usually won’t.
Plexiglass garage doors are a durable and less expensive alternative to garage doors, and they maintain a similar aesthetic. Other elegant types of garage doors include carriage house garage doors and stylish wooden garage doors, but these don’t offer the same look as glass, of course.
There are many signs that your garage door needs to be replaced, including: Visual signs of wear and tear Garage is slow to open and close or won’t open or close at all Jerky motions while operating Loose tracks or broken or worn rollers Uneven garage door when open or closed Sagging garage door Noisy operation even after lubricating the moving parts Broken or loose cords Higher energy bills, which could mean poor sealing or insulation
Yes. Paint will protect your garage floors, making them more resistant to water, mold, mildew, and oil stains. Depending on your paint choice, painted surfaces are easier to clean and maintain.
Carriage, sliding, folding, and trackless pivot doors all replace a standard roll-up door. Glass doors and roll-up screens work well when you convert the garage into living space. Match the style to your driveway clearance and climate.
