I also support his non use of pesticides and passed on non-toxic approaches to tame weeds. However. In places the plantings were sparse and requested additional plantings , to no avail. I will try in the future to be specific, and with more gusto. Lastly he is somewhat expensive but it is worth it because of his extensive landscape and irrigation system knowledge. He helped to set up our irrigation system in a better way. I would gladly interact with Blake again but with clear goals specified. I give Blake my highest recommendation"

  • Colocasia esculenta (Taro or elephant ear): In many climates, these are annuals, making them less desirable because you need to adjust the chain again after each replant.

  • Equisetum scirpoides (Dwarf horsetail rush): non-dwarf varieties of horsetail are fast growers and can take over quickly.

  • Juncus effusus (Curly rush)

  • Osmunda regalis (Royal fern): Royal fern can grow quickly but can also handle being crowded, making them good container plants.
