"Still beaming over the great job done by Channell Landscape! I needed my front flower bed reworked with a brick border in Royse City. They were awesome, especially working around an unusual late-March rainy spell. It has become a focal point instead of an eyesore! I HIGHLY recommend them! -Daniel"

"Alex and his team at Top Notch Landscapes did an awesome job doing an install of flower bed walls and landscaping around our home. Additionally, they've taken care of all our lawn irrigation including installing a new sprinkler controller that has WiFi so that we can keep an eye on things from anywhere using our phone. I've also seen some of the other work that they've done which looks amazing! I would highly recommend Top Notch Landscapes for anyone looking for landscape installation, irrigation work or anything else they offer as they do great work."

"We had Legal Landscaping come out to give a bid for some foundation drains that were needed. We had an Engineer's recommendations in hand, but Brian said he thought he could do it another way that would work as well but cost us a lot less money. He seemed very knowledgeable and was very pleasant. We hired him and the work was done when they said it would be, and they even finished early! Brian was always prompt in answering any questions/concerns we had. We are getting a lot of rain so we should be able to see how the drains are working; but I don't expect any problems. We are very pleased with the work done, and highly recommend Legal Landscaping. Thank you Brian!"

Fountains questions, answered by experts

Yes, it’s possible to DIY a plunge pool and shave labor costs off of the project total. If you’re considering a DIY build, keep in mind that you will be responsible for pool installation and landscaping (which may require excavation). This type of DIY project is best left to particularly handy homeowners who have prior pool installation experience.

Yes, many brands make models similar to endless pools with a range of features. Some companies feature temporary aboveground pools that imitate the effect of permanent installations. Small home pool spas—or spools—as well as lap pools and pools without propulsion designs for water aerobics are also available.

In addition to length and width, pond liners also come in various thickness levels. Thickness is measured in mils, a unit of measurement equal to one-thousandth of an inch, with most pond liners ranging from 15 to 60 mils in thickness. The smaller the number, the thinner (and weaker) the liner. To prevent rips and tears, it’s best to choose a pond liner that’s at least 30 mils thick.

Whether a natural pool is worth it depends on several factors because they cost more than traditional pools. Many people opt for natural pools because they enjoy swimming in natural bodies of water such as lakes. Also, if you're environmentally conscious, a natural pool is going to be a much more attractive option than a traditional pool.

Moreover, for people with chemical sensitivities, a natural pool is a great solution since the water doesn’t contain chlorine.

Frogs may love your yard and want to take up residence for several reasons. Yards can offer a moist environment or access to water. Frogs also eat insects—your yard may offer a steady stream of their preferred diet, such as grasshoppers, crickets, fruit flies, and more.
