"We had quite a few delays to address the leveling of a large area in my yard due to rain, but Robert was very good to stay in touch and reschedule. When the yard dried and he was finally able to address my project, he did an amazing job! His equipment, his expertise and professionalism proved to be exactly what I needed to get this project done exactly as I required. All, for a fair and reasonable price. I highly recommend Robert and Frontline Land Services. I will be using their services in the future!"

"The gentleman that handled our situation was awesome! Andy arrived on time and stayed hard at work until the problem was solved. He didn't want to give up on our clog, even though his supervisor suggested that may be the need, as it was not clearing no matter what was done! Andy kept at it and eventually, after about 5 hours, he was successful. He kept expressing how happy it made him that he was able to help us out. What a wonderful work ethic and upbeat personality! We will keep Andy and Legend Plumbing & Septic in mind for all future plumbing needs!"

Land Clearing Services questions, answered by experts

Yes, they assess topography and potential risks related to flooding.

Detailed mapping of elevation changes and natural features on the property.

Land surveys don’t technically expire. They do serve as a point of reference and a snapshot of your property, though, so as soon as you make changes to your property (and even if your neighbor makes certain changes to theirs), your existing land survey becomes inaccurate, and a new one must be done. Even if you don’t make any changes to your property, many states only guarantee the accuracy of a land survey for five to ten years.

Prior to excavation, you should prepare the dig site and call 311 before you sign anything.

To get your site ready for excavation, you should move anything in the area that isn’t affixed to the land. You can save money on the excavation by removing hardscaping, including walkways, decks, concrete patios, and paver patios.

Before you carry out any digging, you should call 311 to confirm that there are no utility lines running through your excavation site. Skipping this step could lead to severe injury and property damage if your excavator hits a water, sewage, or gas line.

Building a road on a slope requires careful planning and will normally require a drainage system underneath to prevent flooding and damage to the road over time. Your professional may lengthen your road to create switchbacks if the slope directly to your home is too steep, as there are regulations for maximum road slope. The drainage system will help prevent runoff from the higher side of the slope from damaging the asphalt or concrete. Keep in mind that building a road on a slope isn’t a good DIY project, as a lot can go wrong.
