"We had the opportunity to work with this client on several occasions. As a matter of fact we were called back out once or twice to install additional lighting for the client, as they appreciated and were satisfied with the work that was performed. In regards to this review and the statement " that his employees had stapled the wires running up the trees very deep into the tree bark" (see attached pictures) This is not a true statement, the pictures show the wire sucked into the tree bark as a result of tree growth, which is something that we cannot control. We installed the down lights in the trees as we do on every lighting project that requires down lights be installed, and our stapled wires do not look like what is represented in these pictures. This clients trees are experiencing a high rate of growth which resulted in a short in the lighting zone. I personally went out and repaired the problem. This was out of our clearly stated One Year Warranty period on Installation, and we cannot be responsible for one's tree growth creating a problem with a lighting system. So yes there was a charge to repair this issue. Again, once this lighting zone was repaired and the problem was resolved, the client was happy with the service and that the problem had been taken care of. Never was there any talk or issue about this being this being covered by a warranty of any kind. At this point the client is satisfied again and understanding of what created the issue. Is there the possibility that more issues will arise down the road, absolutely. There are lights in trees with wiring that has to be secured to the tree. Again, this is something that we as a lighting provider have no control over. There was a phone conversation over a bulb, and yes I did tell this client that he was speaking to me in a "condescending manner" that is absolutely true. However, there is more to this conversation. Bottom line is that there is a "flip side" to each coin. I will end my response to this review with that being said."

To shed a little bit of light regarding maintenance packages. Our maintenance package coupons are designed around labor hours / per man. The amount of work that can be completed is dependent on the amount of time purchased. In the event that some areas may not have been completed, or not completed to a clients expectation usually results from not having the allotted time to complete everything the client wished to be completed. I allow the crew to spend extra time (at no additional cost) within reason to try and leave every client with a sense of project completion, but there are cases where based on the package purchased there is just not enough time to get everything done that a client wishes. We work to communicate with clients on site, so that the expectation of what can be done in the time allotted is clear. When we arrive on site to honor a maintenance package coupon we don't know what the expectations are, and we have to gauge on site about how much work we can complete in the time allotted. On the coupon it states the option to purchase extra time when needed if a client chooses too in order to get a project completed to their expectation. See example listed below: $340.00 for 4 labor hours of landscaping (1 landscaper for 4 hours, 2 landscapers for 2 hours each, etc.); extra time can be purchased for an additional $100 per hour It is our goal to provide the best service possible, all the while being completely up front, honest, and transparent with each client we work with.
