"I had to replace a section of my ceiling due to a water leak. The team sectioned off the project so the dust didn't spread to the rest of the house. The work was absolute flawless perfection. You can't tell there was a repair. If I had to fund something negative to say is they work on a handshake and aren't big on written documentation. If you can live with that, hire these guys. Their response was fast, and they did great work."

"Louis did a wonderful job patching holes in the drywall and ceiling left by the plumbers. He was careful to contain the dust mess from the work and communicated well the time he needed to complete the job. He was professional, polite, and I would hire him again in a heartbeat."

"We give Robert our highest craftsman recommendation! IF you care about the planning, the foundation, the interior structure, and the finished product, then Robert is the right person for your project. Robert built us a raised patio extension of composite Trex decking with pressure treated base, fully enclosed, with steps. He started when he promised, he worked every day until completed, and he cleaned up the job site every day. The funding and payment schedule was easy to agree too. Further, if you care about craft, here are some of the smaller items I saw on the jobsite. Robert leveled five sawhorses and put the 20 foot boards stacked on each other, to keep them level, and by stacking, kept them from premature bowing. He prepared each 4x4 post with tar to prevent water decaying the wood, before cementing in the ground. He created a concrete beam, with rebar and driven to the bedrock for the deck center supports, and even smoothed and curved the edges of the concrete, for a beam that will Never! be seen again. He screwed every board with three screws, instead of the cheap nail gun approach. He bevel cut any support blocking boards that normally would be flat, but with the bevel the water will run off instead of pool and possibly cause decay! He used 12â centers to make sure that the flexible trex does not have any flex in the deck. The 4x4 posts were dado cut to support the structure, instead of just screwed to the side. I laugh that this deck will live a 1000 years! We love it. WE will use Robert again for any project in his specialties."

"This company is fabulous. We had a bathroom Reno in March. Mike kept us posted daily on who and when someone would 'be there (and they were!). His and Aaron's team is extremely meticulous and professional. Mike made some wonderful suggestions (like doing 1/8" grout so the grey tile would look like a wood floor.) Juan and Renee did one of the best paint and tile jobs ever, among other things..and we are absolutely thrilled with our new bathroom. I am saving up for them to do my kitchen cabinets and walls! I highly recommend them. You will not be disappointed!"

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

The depth of your pool depends on its intended use, the size of your lawn, and whether you opt for an in-ground or aboveground pool. Aboveground pools tend to be between four and six feet deep while in-ground pools range anywhere from three to eight feet. Permanent installations also have the option of shallow and deep ends.

Yes, adding a pool to your property will almost always increase your homeowners insurance premiums. This is because pools are considered hazardous, which increases your home's liability risk. The replacement cost of the pool itself is also factored into your home's rebuilding cost when determining coverage limits. The amount of the increase can vary from as little as $50 to several hundred dollars more per year, depending on your insurance company, location, current coverage, and installed safety features. It is best to contact your insurance agent before installing a pool to get an estimate, understand their specific guidelines, and factor the ongoing cost into your budget.

There are many factors to consider when building an in-ground concrete pool. This includes the pool’s primary purpose (relaxation or exercise) if you live in a warm or cold climate (how often it’ll be used), and if you have the budget for chemical treatments and pool maintenance. In-ground pools are often more costly than aboveground pools, but they’re considered more luxurious and hold more value.

If you don’t bond a pool, you risk electric shock for those walking around or swimming. Bonding creates safe pathways between the electricity needed to run the pool and metallic parts also necessary for the proper function of the pool. Once the pool is bonded, it’s ready for grounding, the second step in creating an electrically safe pool.

To find a leak in a small pool, place a few drops of food coloring in a random area. If the food coloring flows out, you've found your leak. However, this can be time-consuming and impractical in larger pools. The best option is to hire a pool repair specialist with ultrasonic equipment.
