"Tom Gallagher was very pleasant and we are satisfied with the job that was performed by Vinyl Tech. We were repairing from Hurricane Laura and all repair was very expensive around our town at the time. Although we paid a lot to repair our home, our home looked wonderful when finished. We would recommend Tom and his team to our friends and family."

"I waited for a hard rain to see if the roof had been repaired and we had a hard rain on yesterday and my roof is still leaking. I just spoke to someone at Prime Roofing and they are supposed to get someone out on tomorrow. I gave a grade of F related to quality because my roof is still leaking."

"I was familiar with Matt and his work from services performed last year so I knew who to call when I wanted to replace two older interior doors and re-frame the openings.  Matt, as always, was punctual for the appointment and as I explained what I wanted done, he also advised of the proper measurements/configurations to abide by given the door openings.  It turned out that the doors I wanted (with interior blinds built into the glass) could only be obtained in an exterior variety, which Matt advised would work fine.  To save me the cost of delivery, he even met me at the store (several weeks later when the doors arrived on order), loaded and delivered them though the job wasn't to start for several days.
As one can see, caution had to be exercised because the floors and walls were already in their finished state but Matt had no problem in removing the existing doors, frames and accompanying debris and - after precise measuring and preparation - placed the newer doors in place on the first attempt, leveled them and attached them securely.  The frames were then measured (again care had to be taken because I had pre-painted them), cut and attached.  After he caulked the edges, one could not tell the doors had never just been there originally.
For a responsible person that does a first-rate job at reasonable prices and will go out of his way to leave a satisfied customer, I would have no hesitation recommending Matt and would use him on future projects.

Gutter Repair and Replacement questions, answered by experts

Yes, professionals can repair or replace sections with seamless copper for better durability.

How you stop water from leaking between your gutters and fascia depends on the cause of the leak. Some leaks can be fixed simply by cleaning out clogged gutters or downspouts. Other leaks require you to seal holes or cracks in your gutters. Meanwhile, some leaks are a structural issue that requires replacing, changing, or adjusting your gutter system.

Sagging gutters stress your downspout, so have your gutters fixed before you secure your downspout.

Buried downspouts can freeze during cold weather as cold water runs through them. If you’ve discovered your downspouts are frozen, you can carefully pour hot water down the top of the downspout to defrost them. If that doesn’t work, you may need to dig your downspout back up. Avoid trying to break the ice from the exterior using a hammer as this can cause cracks and damage to your downspout.

To avoid freezing the future, consider adding a heating cable to the exterior, which can adjust heat based on the surrounding temperature.

It’s technically possible to remove some soffit material without removing your gutters, but it’s usually a good idea to remove gutters, fascia, and soffit and then reinstall them in the opposite order. Replacing soffits without removing gutters is likely to leave you with a less professional and clean appearance, and you’re more likely to do damage to your gutters and fascia boards in the process.
