"The work done to complete and replace our old bathtub and shower was in one day. And it was mostly done by one technician and saw the problem with our pluming and called up a plumber and fixed it pretty quick. The technician did a great job. The only issue I had a problem with were the two previous technicians that arrived. There was road and sidewalk work being done by the city and the technician that we spoke to said that they could not do the job and to reschedule it. So, I called in to have it rescheduled and during that same week the other technician came by and had no problems about the work being done in front of our house and did the job that day with the help of the plumber. So overall great job and I will refer Bath Fitter to my friends and family."

"DJ Custom Cabinets (Don Dockery, owner) is a wonderful company to use for custom cabinet work. Last year we thought replacing the kitchen countertops and painting the walls would make our kitchen look more modern. After the work was completed, we realized that we should have replaced the kitchen cabinets as well. We had several contractors look at the cabinets and give us their opinion. We determined that DJ Custom Cabinets was the right team for the job. It was absolutely the right decision! Don has been in this line of business for over 45 years and felt 99% confident that he could put in new kitchen cabinets without removing the new countertops. He built a complex set of braces to hold up the countertops and was successful at removing the lower cabinets without any damage to the new countertops. He then slid the new lower cabinets under the braced countertops with no damage to the countertops. He replaced all the other cabinets as well. It was amazing to watch him do this. The cabinets are beautiful. His work is absolutely the best. Don and his team are great with communication and very respectful. We never had a call that wasn’t answered or returned quickly. He kept us informed throughout the process. The process was explained thoroughly. Timeline for work completion was right on. We highly recommend DJ Custom Cabinets for any custom cabinet work. You won’t be disappointed."

"I paid less than half of a bid I got from a company with lots of people and lots of overhead. And I am confident that my project was of comparable quality. Removed tub and put in a high-quality walk-in shower- ½” cultured marble wall panels, custom-made shelf, solid cultured marble drain pan with texture to prevent slipping, grab bars, high-quality double-sliding glass doors. I wish the project had taken three days instead of four but that is my only complaint. Jay and his assistant did a good job. He had some good money-saving suggestions and was easy to work with. He matched the swirls on the wall panels (including the indented shelf!) and made the shower walls flow together. Great job!"

"This is the second kitchen I have had renovated using The Empire of Tile and Granite. I was referred to them by my mom who also used them for a kitchen reno. For this kitchen, we moved a cook top from the island to a wall and put in a recirculating vent hood. We took down a pantry wall. We moved some electrical. We had two sinks installed. We moved our washer dryer hookups. We had floors, cabinets, countertops replaced. The whole shebang. Carlos Castro is very helpful. He came to my house months before I was ready to begin work to give me some idea of cost for the various things I was considering, so I knew which cooktop and vent would work for my project. He brought me cabinet samples to my house (purchased on his own dime). The contract is very clear and reasonable. A+ all around, though I gave a B for price simply because, though it is fair, it won't be the lowest quote you receive, in my experience. His team is professional and very skilled and he has multiple 'foremen' who can help with project discussion, guidance, and issues on days when Carlos can't be onsite - though he makes an effort to be there every day during critical work and at least once a week otherwise. As with any project, keep track of changes. They do add up - but Carlos is very open and honest with those prices as things come up and often gave me ideas to reduce or maximize value for any additional costs."
