"Linda and her daughter arrived as scheduled.  They were friendly and respectful to me and efficient and fast-moving in their tasks.  They did more than I ever dreamed anyone could do in the amount of time they spent.  The cleaning job was incredibly thorough.  It transformed the house and lifted my spirits to see everything so clean and orderly.  I have tried using another cleaning service through Angie's that had a coupon.  The other service was okay, but this service was above and beyond.  I couldn't ask Linda and her daughter fast enough if they could come back again.  I will use them regularly and feel very comfortable with them in my home and know they will probably take better care of things than I would myself!  It was worth joining Angie's just to discover this service.

"My house needed a deep cleaning and I was just not up to doing a thorough job. The crew arrived, divided and conquered to each room. I doubt my house has ever been this clean. The whole staff was friendly. I will hire them again."

Sonic Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Clean debris, treat for moss, and schedule regular inspections to prevent water damage.

While it’s not completely necessary for them to operate properly, as the occasional rainfall can rinse away dirt and debris, manually cleaning solar panels from time to time can keep them operating more efficiently.

Dirt, debris, pollen, and bird droppings can collect on the surface of the panels. Depending on the amount of solar panels you have, this can add up over time, so set a regular maintenance schedule. Moreover, if you live in a climate with little to no rainfall, more debris can accumulate, causing inefficiencies that would be clear in your electricity bill.

You may become so frustrated with the look of moss on your roof that you contemplate whether to clean or replace your roof. Fortunately, you don’t have to go as far as replacing it. After cleaning the moss, you can use a chemical solution to keep it away. For further protection, trim branches that overhang the roof, as fallen seed pods and leaves on the roof allow moisture to collect, encouraging moss growth. Consider adding zinc-coated flashing to the roof, too. As rain washes across the zinc, it leaves zinc particles behind that inhibit moss growth.

Yes, moss can be dangerous for your roof if left in place to grow without treatment. The moss soaks up and holds moisture. Having a constantly damp roof could lead to problems with rot for the parts of the roof that consist of wood. Additionally, a patch of thick moss may draw insects and birds, which could damage the roof. Thick moss could block the roof’s drainage system. Water then may back up after a rainstorm and cause further damage that could eventually lead to roof repair expenses or the cost of roof replacement.

Yes, gable vents can let water in. That being said, this usually only occurs during extreme conditions like heavy rainfall. You can prevent water from entering through gable vents by adding a screen that traps the water before it can enter.
