James make and associates is the most honest appraiser you will find. They talked to me over the phone before coming out letting me know that where we were appraised at was most correct already and that they did not need to come. We were saved from paying for something we didn't need as they were honest and did not want to have us pay for something we didn't have to. Unprofessional. Spent less than a few minutes "appraising" the property. Did not do his homework on the sale of neighboring properties. Did not report the square footage of the property accurately (obviously you cannot do it without actually measuring it). Did not respond to emails or phone calls promptly. Waste of money!

They very professional and friendly but when it came down to price they said one thing on the phone and a hole different in person so I did not like that at all

Quoted less and charged more; could not commit to a time and I had to call three times to get them to show up; could not complete the appraisal in two weeks -- ridiculous after promises made; would not listen to any of the inspectors at the home and appraised the home for a very high amount -- tax value is way less and needed over $250K in home repair or replacement yet he appraised it as "good condition" and at a higher amount; very unprofessional and unresponsive; would never recommend them.
