He was at the house next day for a hard quote (on Sunday) and completed the work the next day Professional in all respects, did what we agreed no "added items no extras" for the price we agreed. His crew was a thing of beauty to watch. As professional project manager for 40 years I can say without reservation that very seldom have I had such a great experiance!"

Decomposed granite and caliche can both harden into a solid surface using a plate compactor. However, due to decomposed granite’s fine particles, it’s not suitable for driveway surfaces. If your current driveway is full of potholes, cracks, and inconsistencies, it's best to remove your old driveway and start from scratch. That being said, concrete resurfacing and asphalt resurfacing are cost-effective options if the underlying structure is still strong enough to support your vehicle but just needs an extra layer to prolong its life.

The most common causes of sunken pavers are poor base preparation and insufficient compaction. The problem could also be how your pavers were installed. If the soil beneath your patio or walkway wasn't compacted, it will pull pavers down as it settles. Additionally, using bare soil instead of making a paver bed with compacted gravel and sand can cause sinking over time. To fix sunken pavers, consider recompacting the base and addressing any drainage or erosion issues in the area.

If you wish to break up a cracked or broken paver for removal, you can use a hammer or mallet and a chisel to fragment the paver. As you’re working, be careful not to disturb surrounding pavers; the key is to work slowly and steadily and remove the broken pieces gently. You should also wear a mask and goggles to ensure that no dust gets into your eyes, nose, or mouth as you work.
