I am the only person in Dragonfly Leather Works, occasionally I will subcontract to other leather artists or may refere people to artisans that are specialists in their field, ie hand made boots and saddles. I haven't made either yet though I intend to. The only saddle I made was for a ride in a ren. faire. I can take cash, checks, credit cards or pay-pal. I usually have to charge a deposit to cover the materials and collect the labor charge upon delivery of the completed project. I like too work closely with the client so I can create exactly what is wanted or needed. Eventually I will have completed items, for now everything I do is a custom order.

Leather and Vinyl Repair questions, answered by experts

Soft spots in a mobile home floor can be caused by settling of the foundation or by improperly installed foundations. If the foundation moves, it can create stress on the floor material, causing soft spots to form. Water damage can also cause soft spots in the floor, so it’s a good idea to get a pro to inspect your floors if you have soft spots.

If you are ready to work on replacing floorboards but discover that your hardwood floor type has been discontinued, there are some options. You can get a piece of unfinished wood in the same wood type and thickness and stain it yourself. Also, consider contacting the manufacturer to see what similar products they may have in their product line that may work for you. Otherwise, you can contact a speciality company to customize exactly what you need.

It depends on the reason for the sagging floors, but since sagging floors are usually a sign of foundation damage that you could have avoided, chances are your homeowners insurance policy will not cover the necessary repairs. Not only that, but your provider likely won’t cover the actual foundation damage that is causing the issue either, as it’s considered an avoidable type of damage, and negligence isn’t covered by most insurers.

Many types of flooring can cover tiles, including vinyl, vinyl plank, engineered wood, carpet, and hardwood. The most common are various types of vinyl and engineered woods because of their versatility. However, as long as the tile floor is in good condition, you can install a flooring that fits your vision for the space.

In general, vinyl flooring resists scratches, dents, and tears, but this can vary from one type of vinyl (and manufacturer) to another. Vinyl flooring has a wear layer that ranges in thickness from 6 to 20 millimeters. This layer offers protection against standard scratches, but vinyl with a thicker wear layer will resist scratches better than those with a thin layer.
