Unfinished Carpentry

It took them a long time to begin work for me.  They started in the beginning of August, and they were supposed to close off a room and flooring (which they never got to).  We had already paid 35% of the contract.  We had to call them to come out, and they even took off every Friday.  They had to keep coming back because it wasn't done properly.  It was excuse after excuse when they stopped showing up.  They never responded for a week and a half, so we canceled the contract.  They tried to plead their case, but we didn't want to continue using them.
