"On time, friendly tech, knowledgeable. I have an older house with susceptible plumbing, Jason got my drain on kitchen sink working and laid out a plan for a long term solution. He also suggested (at my request) a diy solution that could save me money."

Small jobs welcome

"Great work. I hired them to do 2 different projects. The first project was to install drains from my gutters under my driveway into the front portion of my yard. After the drains he re-surfaced my driveway with crushed limestone. It looks beautiful and after a few rains, it hardens nearly like concrete. I liked the work so much, I had him back to bring in some dirt and fix an erosion problem behind my house. Highly recommended"

French Drains questions, answered by experts

If you don’t have a sewer cleanout, clearing out clogs can be extremely difficult. You would need to try to clear the clog from sink drains, but it can be harder to reach the clog all the way in the drain line. A sewer cleanout makes it much faster and easier for pros to clear clogs from your main sewer line.

Keep your egress window from flooding by ensuring that the drainage system in the window well is clear and in good working condition. Inspect the window well every few months to remove any blockages and test the drainage system. It’s better to discover potential problems before your window well fills with water during heavy rain.

If your drain doesn’t have metal crosshairs or crossbars, you should use a tub drain extractor. These tools create a grip on the drain so you can turn it using a 1/2-inch ratchet drive, drain key, or wrench. Your drain may not have crosshairs if it's old and broken.

Main sewer lines can clog for several reasons. For example, if you regularly dump oil or grease down your drain, it could eventually block your line. Sometimes, tree roots can penetrate and grow inside old sewer pipes, creating a major blockage. Flushing bulky items (like paper towels, diapers, or baby wipes) can also clog your plumbing system.

To unclog a plumbing vent, you first need to locate it. Look at your home's roofline. The plumbing vent will be a vertical pipe sticking straight up from the roof. Since this pipe runs all the way to the main drain underneath your house, you should also be able to find it in the attic.
