Growing up in the plumbing trade has allowed us to have the liberty to work with some of the best (and worst!) tradespeople in the industry. "We live in Georgetown. Last year this company came out because we were having issues with our spetic. They stated we needed all new larger pipes. We paid them over $10,000 to redo our septic with a life time warranty. Not even 5 month later we started have pir alarm go off and more problems. The company came out and said we need a new pump. We paid over $2500. Since then, our septic has been leaking, smelling and not repaired, in addition thrg broke our drive way and left our mound completely a mess. We have attempted for 2 months to contact this company and they are avoiding us. When I spoke to the owner, he laughed and mocked me. We then called the company we are finance from to attempt a resolution. They phoned Chase and we got a call immediately stating they would be out. They never came. We have little girls, our play set js right by this mound and it stinks a d is leaking. They have never fixed it from the start. We cannot afford now for another company to come and do the job they were paid to do. It is completely a shame that they have ripped us off and refuse to contact us. We are going to obtain a lawyer in hopes to get the company to fix their mess."

"I hired All in One Septic in December based on reviews on your website. I should have asked more questions, but we were in an emergency situation, with water backing into our house. Ricky Thompson, the supposed owner of the company, came out and said we needed a new drain field. To this day, I am not completely sure we needed that; however, after he was done with it, we definitely did. They came out and dug a new drain field in record time, a couple of hours, and left in such a hurry that we weren t even allowed to ask questions. The problem wasn t fixed; water was still backing up, which tells me that the drain field wasn t even the problem. We paid this company $10,800. We hired a plumber because, at the time, we still believed we were being told the truth, and perhaps the issue was between the septic and the house. He told us that the drain field was not put in correctly. When he unearthed everything, the drain field was slanting back toward the house, and one of the pipes wasn t even fully attached to the infiltrators. We tried calling Ricky, but, as in other reviews, he refused to answer the phone or texts. He finally answered when I blocked my number and repeated calls to his number. He said he would come out and fix it, then tried to charge us an additional $600 to fix it when he found out we hired a plumber. He said that the plumber damaged everything. We watched the plumber, who also does septic work, use a backhoe, then a shovel. He didn t damage anything, but Ricky was so ugly and unprofessional that I told him he wasn t welcome back on our property. We then hired another septic company, recommended by a friend, who came out and agreed that the drain field was not put in correctly. They had to dig out everything that had already been done and trash it. They dug a field 3X as long and used lasers to make sure it drained the right way, for $4500. I had asked Ricky in one of our conversations how many infiltrators were put in to which he replied 16-18 based on the size of our house. There was nowhere near that number when they were taken out. obviously, since the new one was 3X as long as the initial. We haven t had a problem since."

"Rude and agressive behavior for absolutely no reason towards female customer ! Work was partially done to be finished but the owner after being asked to explain the work that will follow aggressively pooled out the previously fixed item claiming it was his and not yet paid for! I was standing there ready to settle which was not an issue to begin with! Be aware of this very unprofessional service!"

Estimating what size well pump you need is challenging and often inaccurate, but a general rule of thumb is to take the number of fixtures—including water-consuming appliances—in your home and aim for that number in gallons per minute. That calculation method would allow for every fixture in your home to use about one gallon of water per minute. However, it’s best to leave the pump size determination to a professional technician, as they can ensure your pump is providing your home with sufficient water, especially during peak usage hours.
Some states and municipalities restrict well pump repair and replacement to licensed plumbers and technicians, while others don’t have requirements. However, it’s always a good idea to hire a certified plumber to repair or replace well pumps and water pumps. Certified professionals are far more likely to get the job done correctly and prevent future issues, which is especially important for ensuring access to clean water for your home.
It’s possible to fix a broken well pump yourself, but we don’t recommend it. Well pumps are hard to reach and service without the proper equipment, and even if you can reach the pump, it involves working in close proximity to water and electricity, which can be extremely dangerous. Any mistakes made during the repair process could contaminate your water supply or put you and your home at risk. Additionally, some states require that a licensed plumber carry out well pump repair. It’s worth it to hire a professional water pump repair service.
The average cost to repair a well pump is $950, with most well pump repairs ranging between $100 and $2,900. A few factors influence your total repair cost, including the component of your well that needs repair or replacement, the extent of the damage, the accessibility of the pump, and the age and size of your well pump. It might be more cost-effective to replace your well pump if it’s old or has multiple broken components, as the average cost to replace a well pump is $1,800.
Most professional well and water pump technicians will take between two and four hours to replace an above-ground well pump, while a submersible well pump typically takes four to five hours to access and replace. You can also ask your well pump replacement technician how long they expect the process to take, as some jobs take just an hour or two. Keep in mind that you’ll be without access to water during the replacement process, so plan ahead by showering early and stocking up on bottled water for drinking and cooking.
