"Excellent company!!! I have a small office and it is full.of things I do for work. Get organized came out, did a consultation and told me what to expect. We scheduled a date for them to come out and they were on time and told me what they were going to do. They worked with me to determine what everything was and now I can breath! Everything is in its place and I can actually walk in my office again!!! I highly recommend!!!"

"Josh Brewer from Autograph Construction came out to my property to clean my pollen covered solar panels. Josh arrived at the exact time we agreed upon and got straight to work. Josh did a great job and the price was very fair. I would recommend Autograph construction and Josh Brewer"

"Connie was amazing she jumped in and tackled an entire condo that was full of plastic bags that had been filled by remediation and put into a pod in random order. As I was recovering from injury I had no idea what was packed where she organized everything and even found lost jewelry amongst all the tidbits like finding a needle in a haystack in an ocean on another planet. Her pricing was fair she was so easy to talk to I can't imagine how lucky I was to find her she's easy going and on time and able to have every finger on the pulse of a different heart of each room in my house. She is amazing ! Do yourself a favor and hire Connie"

House Cleaning questions, answered by experts

The best way to clean kitchen cabinets is to use a soft cloth soaked in warm water and mild dish soap. For areas that require a stronger solution, a mixture of baking soda and vinegar is the best choice. If your cabinets are made of sealed hardwood, you can deep clean them using a steam cleaner, but other cabinet materials are exempt from this type of cleaning.

No, you cannot use bleach on Dekton. Avoid harsh chemicals when cleaning and treating Dekton. Such chemicals are unnecessary since Dekton is highly stain-resistant and nonporous. Instead, use a mild solution of water and soap or vinegar when cleaning your Dekton countertops and dry thoroughly with a clean cloth.

If you prefer not to use a commercial cleaning product on your pink mold issue, or on other types of mold you are seeing in your bathroom, there are some natural mold killer products that you can use. You can try substances that you may already have in your home, like vinegar, tea tree oil, hydrogen peroxide, lemon juice, and baking soda.

Putting off cleaning your fridge is a bad idea for a few reasons. For one, any food spills can build up, making it much harder to clean your fridge when you finally do get around to it. Plus, any stray pickle juice or leaky leftovers are a recipe for a stinky fridge.

But beyond that, if you don’t clean your fridge, it could be a health hazard. Old food can turn moldy and old spills can too. Even if none of that scares you, putting off cleaning your fridge will make it look downright gross, which should be reason enough to break out your sponge.

While a biohazard cleanup sounds like a scary process, knowing what to expect can help ease your concerns and set you up for success. It’s good to note that more than one professional might be needed depending on your situation, but that will be determined during the assessment. What you can expect during a home biohazard cleanup is the following:

  • Assessment: The first step in this process is for a biohazard cleanup professional to assess the damage. They create a report that includes the biohazard safety level, the needed damage cleanup, and the time it should take to complete the project.

  • Setup: The cleanup professional prepares the site to prevent cross-contamination and reduce toxicity risk. This process can include tarping and creating decontamination zones.

  • Removal of surface contamination: Any contaminated materials are removed from the area, starting with large materials followed by small ones. The professional can assess any floor-related damage once everything is removed from the site.

  • Salvaging items: The biohazard cleanup professionals assess which items can be saved and which are contaminated beyond the point of saving. Those deemed unsafe will be disposed of immediately.

  • Waste disposal: The next step is carefully disposing of the hazardous waste. Your professional will place the contaminated items in specific containers to keep the contamination from spreading.

  • Disinfection: The house will be disinfected and odor-neutralized. Even more minor details, like light switches and bulbs, will be disinfected so that they do not recontaminate the area in the future.

  • Restoration: Once the decontamination is complete, the last step is to restore the home. This includes repairing the damage to flooring, walls, or even the home's foundation.
