"They provide a reasonable price for cleaning the chimney, but then bid very extravagant prices for any work you may need. For example, in my house the hearth brick mortar needs to be removed and reinstalled, then the hearth would be repainted if one chooses. Their price $ 1,800. I can get it done for about $ 200. Since I am in the remodeling business this may not be quite fair pricing, but I do not see why they would charge more than $ 500 for the work."
