"Ivan and his team hung lights across the huge beams and the stage for my daughters wedding at The Springs Venue. It really brightened it up and looked elegant and beautiful! They met with me before and had the exact plan documented and took care of Setting it all up the day of the wedding with nothing needed from me and the mother of the bride. They also had to remove it the same day and where they’re at midnight taking it down. Highly recommend"

Holiday Decorating FAQs, answered by experts

There is no formal date for Christmas light removal, but January 2 is a standard day to take them down for many homeowners. However, some homeowners’ associations have strict rules around this topic, mandating that residents remove lights no later than two weeks after Christmas. Check with your local association or community for more information.

To hang Christmas lights outside without nails, consider using alternatives like adhesive hooks, gutter clips, or even hot glue. These options allow you to secure lights to various surfaces without causing damage to your roof or siding. Be sure to clean and prepare the surface before applying these alternatives for better adhesion.

Yes, energy-efficient options such as LEDs and solar-powered lights are available. These alternatives consume less electricity, resulting in lower utility costs. They are also more environmentally friendly due to their reduced carbon footprint and longer lifespan.

If you need help with your holiday decorating, the first step is determining your lighting and decor needs to narrow down your pro options. For example, if you want a custom outdoor light display with all of the bells and whistles, you’ll likely need to hire a local holiday light installer who specializes in that service. But if you only need to hang some lights inside in hard-to-reach places, consider hiring a handyperson or an interior decorator instead. It’s best to contact at least three different companies for quotes and to find out what services they offer.

If you don’t have a ladder, you may be able to use a light-hanging pole. If not, you’ll have to rent a bucket lift or other machinery to reach your roof.
