"I didn’t go through Angi’s and boy do I wish I did. I hired Guillermo Iglesias for a few jobs and the first thing he said when he walked in was, “I forgot to tell you, but I’m going to need some of the money upfront to start the work”. He said it so kindly, in a way that you felt like you can trust him. I genuinely thought this person was a good guy. He told me that my projects would be complete within four days, and on the fourth day he never showed up and the projects weren’t even close to being completed. I reached out to him on the fourth and fifth day and by the sixth day I was upset bc I felt taken advantage of. That’s when I saw the real Guillermo, I questioned the quality of his work, because I was not satisfied and asked if he was coming back to fix what he started. He immediately got defensive but said he would come back to fix what I was unhappy with. He never showed up, and when I asked him for a partial refund, he stopped responding. I definitely feel taken advantage of and wish I did more research before hiring him."
