House cleaning Service

"I hired this company to clean the house once a month for $178.61. It started out good. Barry was very personable and responsive. The cleaning was not as good as the last company but was not as expensive either so we didn’t complain at first. We let him know about one issue shortly after they started but that was it. However, over the several months they cleaned for us the quality went downhill. We started noticing the hardwood floors didn’t look like they had been washed, they didn’t vacuum under the living room chairs which were easy to move, the faucets were streaked and cloudy, the kitchen and laundry room sinks were not cleaned well, the granite countertops in the bathrooms felt grainy and still had dirt stuck on them, stainless steel appliances were not cleaned well and the dog room floors had not been cleaned. We also had an office that we told them not to worry about for a few months as it was too cluttered to clean so they didn’t have have as much to do but we still paid them the same amount. It took the previous cleaning company 3-3.5 hours to clean our 3200 sq ft house but this service was only spending 2 hours or less. It’s no wonder they were doing such a poor job. I politely let Barry know via email that the cleaning wasn’t being done well and he asked me to let him know what the issues were. When I sent him the list he sent me an email stating that he thought it was best if he discontinued our service and it wasn’t a good fit. I replied back to me very politely but he never responded. It’s clear it hurt his feeling to think his service wasn’t as good as he thought it was. Instead of trying to work it out he just dropped us. That is extremely unprofessional and rude."
